But the full back who did play had a absolute mare

If shaul did that dave and others would of crucified him

But Walker is great apparently

No because he was terrible against Leeds, and if we'd of had other options the rest would of been dropped by now, have you some weird infatuation with Shaul, its cringe, posters on the wall, same hair style and all that?

Depleted or not there was some poor effort from the same section of players that should be leading by example it just not looking interested. Griffin for me looks shot in terms of confidence since his injury and wonder if Cators reoccurrence and Carlos suffering same injury has affected him too. Gale for me not showing much in terms of leadership when things aren’t going well. Depleted we maybe but no excuse for some of the effort or lack of.

Houghton also is very much going through the motions. Indefensible now sticking up for them, Hodgsons touched on his frustrations wit the lack of senior leadership so I thoroughly expect we l see the ones we've named go the same way as the previous players we've named and have been moved on. No hiding in professional sport, some of us just see who's slacking quicker than others, but more common sense

Hard as we've so many injured but you cannot account for lack of effort by some.

Kind of expect it off certain players now so my only gripe which I've not seen mentioned and I scratch my head at is this.

“We had some players that are new to their positions. Charlie Severs had to come on at centre. The young boys that had to come into our club from last week, we haven’t got a lot of work into them in turns of our system so it was very disjointed. It’s a tough one.”

Anybody spot the problem, that isn't players playing out of position?

Hodgson said he rolled his ankle in the same tackle that sent him for the HIA. Hopeful he'll be fine for Friday.

He took Griffin off because he was having a mare apparently and there wasn't another centre on the bench so.....

No slater, inglis, Cronk, Thurston, Smith, Cordner who are all a big step up above any in their positions

England won't have a better chance of beating the aussies in a major

Gotta disagree there.
Mitchell, Trebojovic and Tedesco are all pure class and that's just fullbacks covered. Cleary is brilliant, but if he isn't feeling it , they can have DCE and Reynolds as replacement, Munster as you have said is pure class as is Matt Burton and Cody Walker, Jerome Luaiai (spelling), their hookers could be any of Grant, Cook or even Ben Young . wingers Ado Carr, Cobbo, Tupou (if he chooses them over Tonga, or any number of options, . Then there is the rest their pack, at least, 5 picks in every position better than the best we have. If they turn up wanting to win, we do well to keep them below 60 in my opinion.

We see our management talking players such as Ryan Hall, who didn't score during his time with the Roosters, Sam Tomlins and Johnny Lomax and, as good as they are/have been in SL, they'd struggle to get in any of the 2nd tier nations' squad. I hope I am wrong , but I don't even have us a 3rd favourite, given the names Tonga and even Samoa can call on, never mind NZ and the Aussies.

I'd go as far as to say this World cup could be the final nail in the coffin for Northern Hemisphere International RL.

After being cared for by the Wigan medical team, and his treatment included ear whispering, Big Chris was seen running home to Hull, with a cherry & white contract in his booty pocket,

I'd say there is more depth in the NRL than a few years ago, maybe not the stars like Slater etc, but the standard on the club sides is very high. They could easily put out 4 sides that would beat GB.

Tedesco is the best full back out of them 3 and is a great player but better than slater ? No chance

Cherry Evans couldn't even get in as water boy when Thurston and cronk played

Again hooker none are better than Cameron smith your clutching at straws big time with these suggestions

Tonga again are weaker than 2017 no jennings, fifita past it

Samoa will be good and should do better than 2017 as they was awful at last world cup

Fiji will be better than both Tonga and Samoa

They beat us 6-0 at last world cup

Sydney only beat saints by 10 points in 2020 world club challenge

The salary cap difference nrl clubs should win every world club challenge by 70/80 points
