Thinking of an equivalent would you be excited about a prop from Batley who wasn't getting in the team going to wakey.

Now who's being hyperbolic.

Who on here is 'excited' about a two week loan? it's simply a prop to cover whilst we haven't got any. Who knows we may even have found a gem who is out of contract next season and won't cost much!

But it simply doesn't work like that. It's never that simple.

He has played a fair few games this season but he's at that age where he only does play a few games at a time, he's young.

What you need to take into account is that we are not struggling for numbers, especially props. We have 7 available props, We have no injury crisis we are just playing very badly. Hence you tend to go with senior players in this situation.

As for the Batley reference, well we aren't Batley are we. We may play like them or possibly worse at the moment but Aydin is a full time SL player, not a part timer. So there is zero similarity. What you are getting is a graduate from one of SL's better Academies who is not totally green. As I say you are lucky to have him for two games.

Try and rejoice that there are still a few decent youngsters coming through and are being shared around instead of knocking them.

Hope you don't for obvious reasons, but that's exactly the point I was making. Good players don't always arrive with a huge reputation but some bad ones definitely do.

Come on Seth - Leeds are not Saints - they have 5 points more than Wakey!!

Your job is to say to yourself on a job interview does the hiring manager likes me or not. If you aren't a particular manager's cup of tea, you haven't failed -- you've dodged a bullet.

Again, you've clearly never watched him.

One is a better more famous player but there is no extreme. You do realise Aydin is not some kid just lifted from the Academy

We literally have one recognised prop. I would take anyone who has played prop in SL for the next two weeks just to help us out.

You never know, Wakefield might be loaning us their star prop hoping it helps us to do them a favor by beating Toulouse!!!

What’s Ryan Bailey up to these days?

I’m joking of course. Aydin fills a gap for two weeks. He could earn himself a contract here or else where. Win win all round.

As the weeks gone on, I've got more excited to see what Yusuf brings. There must be a reason the club have taken him over others and from what vastman has said, he's got potential.

2 weeks gives him a chance to impress, not just in gamed but in training and potentially earn a deal with us (sounds like he's well down the pecking order at Wakey). We have a shortage at prop with no players looking ready to step up from the Academy. People say about having 6 props in the squad, amd he has the potential to be one.

And on the flip, without over thinking, we have 1 available prop who himself is a young lad. No doubt he's been over worked the last few seasons already. Would have been negligent by the club not to bring someone in

I agree with this.
It is a position we have to strengthen in further, but he may have enough potential to add to the strength in depth that we are desperately short of in the front row.

Woody: Can I pour you a draft, Mr. Peterson?
Norm: A little early, isn't it Woody?
Woody: For a beer?
Norm: No, for stupid questions.

Wakey have recalled Aydin.

I thought he went well and would have liked to have kept him, Wakey say they have offered him a contract but he hasn’t signed I wonder wether it was our plan to get him into the set up with a view to offering him a deal for next year?
