We don't know Walker isn't trying to play himself back into a Leeds shirt but I would be making him an offer based on yesterday alone. Shaul will no doubt be looked after by his best mate, only way he avoids the championship IMO.

Decent overseas players become available during the season and with a quota spot available it gives us a chance to move quickly.
Depends on the squad make up when all deals are agreed and signed but that would be my current thinking.
I'd 200% use it on a leader, model professional type, with experience. I feel we're in a transition period, phasing out the last of Radfords trusted lieutenants. But we're short of leaders time for the next leadership group for me it'd involve Sao and Connor and be great if we signed an Elijah Taylor type who leads by example.

You have to assume his preference would be to get back ahead of Myler and Hargreaves. But if Leeds still don't want him after he's proved his fitness with us then he seems like what we've been missing since Shaul lost his form.
It was really good watching us have a player who always seemed to be on the shoulder of the ball carrier. We've missed that for a while now.

'boardwalkempire' is laughing at this, not sure why as it's true. Connor is a senior player and the responsibility would do him good. We do lack a real leader, though, if we need to bring one in from the NRL so be it.

You make a good point about signing a leader as someone the younger players can look up to and is here for the right reasons not just to top up his pension.
Failing that I would make Sao the captain next season. Give Connor some responsibility would be a wise move as well.

Walker was superb yesterday but I wouldn't judge him on a single performance. He's very talented but can't get a place in an average Leeds team and his injury record isn't great.
If rumours are correct Hoy will be our full back next season so will Walker be an expensive squad player? Litten is highly rated and could be the back up full back.
Our recruitment and retention next season is going to be very interesting. This topic is going to run and run!

I think the reason he can't get in at Leeds is because of his injuries, plus Leeds are pretty strong at Full back.
But I agree, can't get carried away, he is very injury prone, let's see see how he goes after a few more matchs.

Cheers, I think it'd mature Connor more. And you can't question the lads will to win, same with Sao, time for abit of change
