If we are to consistently rival the top two then we need to match with our own. How many bans in total did Reynolds Connor Gale accrue this season? They are our leadership group that our young kids are suppose to follow. No wonder we are on the end of these hammerings when young players on considerably less money see the leadership group churning out casual efforts.
Connor has only been banned once and that was after the Wakey game when the slightest touch was being punished. Had that been now, he wouldn't have been banned so you've been a bit unfair there. Also, his gobby persona is just that, a persona. Off the pitch he's one of the quietest lads and simply gets on with the job. I'll give you Gale and Reynolds, but you can't lump Jake in with their attitude issues.

I think he was also banned for a game, after a pre season friendly Karen, did he not miss a Derby because of this, or am I muddled up “again”

You're right, he did, in 2019

Find the bashing of Jake Connor from some of our fans astonishing. Comfortably our best player in attack and the stats are there to prove it. When you see how weak our attack is without him you realise that he has affectively been producing the creativity of three players. Full back suites his game, he makes his own space and the luxury of slotting into the line at FB is devastating as we have seen over last couple of years. I think a spine of Connor, Hoy, Trueman and Lovodua/Balmorth would be an exciting one.
I'd be shocked and disappointed if we let him go to another SL side and to be honest I don't see anything in the rumour.
Interesting comments, JC certainly does polarise opinions. I’m sure he’s a lovely kid as Shaul and the other lads are too. Fact remains he has on field discipline issues when he is integral to the leadership group. We keep getting on the wrong end of blow out scores. Yes , it’s not all his fault but the leadership group Has to change if we are to move on and challenge the top teams. Why have Saints or Wigan never come in for him, not just this season but previous seasons. Why has he been overlooked for international selection. If indeed he moves to wire then he will have Williams Ratchford Clarke to play alongside so it will be interesting to see how he goes.

Connor isn't part of our 'leadership group'.

Leadership group= Houghton Taylor Shaul Griffin -All past their best now unfortunately and need to be moved on.Very obvious to majority of fans that the only reason certain people want Connor out,or blame him for anything is due to him being a better fb and all round player than Shaul. But some wanted Last as the coach, and all their local mates in the team, which is pathetic as any fan would want the best team possible surely? The club have for the past 3-4 years been let down by the same players so anyone blaming anybody else apart from that certain little group are living in la la land

Our biggest 3 defeats have been Saints, Leeds and Catalans this season.
Guess how many of these Connor played in?
When Sarginson is getting picked for England, all credibility of the England squad is lost.
Superbly gifted player with a winning attitude, he doesn't need to be over analysed, just enjoy him, while we have him.
