The club have absolutely done the right thing trying to bring in more established SL players short term, you can't just chuck a load of young lads that might not be ready into an underperforming team where half of them can't be arsed, it could destroy them long term. If we could have them fed into a fit and firing team like St's and Wigan do it would be much more beneficial for their development.
Some new faces might give us a bit of impetus. Without them the team picks itself, at least with some loan options there is scope for dropping underperforming players.

Game is Sunday!
We also have a reserves derby tomorrow night when some of the younger players will be required. Not sure if that has anything to do with the decision to bring loan players in.
Plus we are not sure how much damage this cancer at the club has done to the whole squad. How deep does it run?
I have heard stories of parties and one certain younger player being told to stop partying so much with our now released ex NRL star?

Think its a sensible and pro active move by the club and hopefully these loans mean they aren't thinking just short term and that certain players will be dropped. I believe the likes of Litten, Severs, Staveley, Walker, Barron would not let anyone time for a game or two but week in week out they aren't quite at that level.
There's clearly some issues within the squad but we need more bodies before we can seriously drop the players that are letting the club down, bringing some fresh faces will certainly help alter the dynamic.
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!
