Don’t like getting loan players if it’s not with a view to a permanent signing. Had all that before, developing other clubs players. If we are signing them, it’s different. Play our own Academy players instead otherwise.

I'd certainly feel more confident with Jack Walker at full back than Shaul or McIntosh. Has looked promising when I've seen him for Leeds. I take IH's point though. If it's just for a couple of weeks just give Litten a game instead.

Think Walker I until the end of the season. Halsall seems strange, unless looking long term, 20 years old, might aswell play Marcus Walker.

Are we really gaining massively by playing Walker over Shaul? Just doing Leeds a favour by freeing up their salary cap so they can make a signing and overtake us in the league. Can’t understand why Hodgson doesn’t bring Bowden back at this moment either? Can’t offer less than Taylor, but he’s intent on freezing him out. All seems shambolic to me.

Halsall is a physical thing. He may be seen as more ready than chucking Litten/Barron in for 6 weeks.

He's probably in front of any of our kids after being with the England Knights set up. If we're looking to sign both up I think it's cracking news.
