I've said previously, we could have Bellamy/Robinson/Wane whoever and this playing group would throw them under the bus.
We've still got the stale, boys club malaise that was allowed under the previous coaching regime. A lot, if not most of those players are still here.
We all know who they are. The 'Hull and Proud' ones that continually let the club down.
All the talk of clear outs are just that though. I feel like Pearson is happy for us to scrape by for the time being.
I'd move on Gale, Shaul, Houghton, Taylor, JJ, Bowden, Ma'u. Griffin is close to that list too.
Don't see it happening though. We're going to have to strap ourselves in for some bumpy seasons.
Started to look at who was there in 2018 when we took a turn for the worse thinking I'd disagree with you, but actually...Shaul, Bowden, Taylor, Connor, Houghton, Fash, Brown, Griffin and Scott were all there back then. Appreciate the likes of Cameron Scott were young then but it's still 8 players still there 4 disappointing years later.

TBH can’t argue with much of that. I think it’s time the likes of Houghton, Shaul and Taylor in particular were let go. Something is very wrong within the club and the attitude and application on Saturday stunk from a number of so called senior players. It’s the same ones that end up busting their balls while some team mates seemingly cba.
Griffin for me has been a shadow of his former self since coming back from injury and he just didn't look interested which is more concerning. Jordan Lane another who just isn’t anywhere near his previous. Johnstone well not much else to say as deemed not good last season yet continues to feature more often than not. Gale unfortunately is/was a late gamble with losing Sneyd that just hasn’t worked,
As much as I like Carlos I think questions need to be asked in regards to his viability now as he is another that’s been a great servant but now injuries are becoming all too regular issue. Savelio sadly is another that misses big chunks through injury.
I also think that Purtill is another who should have a big question mark over him.
Still not convinced BH Is the right man to take this club forward as don’t think he’s ruthless enough to make the changes needed. The continual selection of Johnstone and flogging Houghton for 80mins week in week out doesn’t show that he’s a coach capable of making the hard decisions.
It’s just such a fuckibg mess and the silence from AP certainly isn’t helping to give fans hope it’s the opposite.
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

Last time we didn't have a coach Shaul got a 3 year deal...
Stick with Hodgson and get rid of the players.
Recruitment? - Hodgson certainly doesn't inspire confidence so far!
Gale - ? terrible Reynolds " McIntosh - different type of winger but no improvement on Faraimo IMO Evans - tripe! always seen him as lazy/windy. Very disappointing signing Lovadua - top signing, just what we needed at hooker (but are we ever going to see him play there?)
Why are we looking at keeping players like Scott? He's been around for a few seasons now but is like one of those bargains online - buy sight unseen' Unfortunately we have 3 or 4 in this category - tough decisions to be made. Does Hodgson have the balls? like most i'm lost for answers atm.But playing 4/5* hookers in the 17 is ridiculous We have one winger available, Wire were looking to loan out Josh Charnley for the rest of the season. Went to Leigh. Past his best but miles better than what we currently have available. Moving Wynne who has been outstanding in the centre is just stupid.

* Assuming Hookem is a hooker. No one seems sure!
Do you think BH has been backed the same as Gentle or Radford? Recruitment wise its no where near.
He's had to try and grab a bargain due to limited cap space.
Evans and Reynolds salary will be heavily subbed from previous clubs.
Gale will be cheaper than Sneyd, same with Mcintosh for Faraimo.

I really do believe it is almost last chance saloon for the club as a whole due to the general apathy felt by a good number of fans and fairly hard core section not just about the club but the game itself. I never thought in my 40 plus years of watching and supporting the club I'd think of calling it a day but the constant struggle to summon the energy to go and watch the sort of half arsed effort served up and Saturday really has me questioning is it worth it? The club in terms of the youth seems to be going well but everything else just seems a poop show from AP and Clarke through to the first team squad, it just seems rudderless.
Unfortunately there is only so many times you can ask/expect fans to back the club on the promises of success when those promises continually fail and that was before the lockdown changed things then ad in the ever rising cost of living and AP and the club are now facing in essence a perfect storm.
Where does the club go from here? Is BH the right man to make the changes needed, is he tough enough for the job in hand? Does AP have the stomach or resources to carry on, seeing the same issues derail his efforts to make the club a success on the field?
Some may say my post is a bit melodramatic but in all honesty I think its a pretty realistic view and sadly a depressing one.
