Hodgsons decisions like this has put doubts in my mind he’s up to it.

Not defending Hodgson because he made some baffling decisions today but hookem took a heavy knock to the head first half and I did see him signal to the bench just before he came off so possibly forced to come off

I’m not sure anymore after that , ok we have a few injuries but on paper it didn’t look a bad team . Been saying it for years but we are still mentally weak , we look for excuses when things go against us . Big clear out needed , mainly the old guard, but easier said then done . There’s a good coach without a job for next season not to far away , probably our best chance of getting one for a long time instead of assistants . But can we afford to do it ! Or does Brett deserve more time .

Hodgson/Radford...or whoever comes in next, some of the players we have atm are mentally weak or know they wont get dropped no matter how bad they stink the place out!

I was going to add “unless he was injured” but thought better of it, seeing as how he didn’t go for concussion assessment. Hodgson’s bench decisions are bemusing at times. I stand by what I said, no line speed, slow play the ball and unfortunately no decision makers. Gale won’t make haypence of difference, if he recovers next week, his confidence is shot. Slow slide down the table and finish 9th but may well finish 10th. The season’s gone as I said on another thread, the day after Connor was injured. Unfortunately Hodgson’s one dimensional and we’re in another dimension now.

Would things seriously be any worse under Andy Last?

Who knows?

We needed a clean break from Radford/Last era.

It was the correct decision to not give the job full time to Last.

Yes we had that win at Warrington in the play off but a reminder of some other results

Salford L 18-54
Warrington L 12-37
Wigan L 4-36
Salford L 22-28
Leeds L 22-40
Wigan L 2-29

We needed a clean break. Last had been on the coaching staff 15 years. It just looks like we may have got the replacement wrong.
