Sounds like it, the way Hodgson is talking is that there are disagreements with the management, probably about this clause , which is the club are right to get rid of this clause.

If all the ducks will line up in a row. Then it will happen.

Unfortunately they’re not ours to line up.

How about just going with two of Gale/McNamara/Hookem/Lovodua in the halves for the rest of the year. Top four has gone so the best we can hope for is a play off game at Huddersfield.

Always seemed unlikely that Trueman would come midseason and in some ways it might be better to have him join us for next year with a clean slate.

Jack Hughes could be available. Always struck me as a bit of a plodder though, doubt he'd move from Wire to Hull for a season or two.

Joe Greenwood is another backrow ooc. Unfulfilled potential, but has been criticised at previous clubs for a lack of fight/desire.

Both players in and around 30 so might not be what we're after.

Agreed it certainly doesn’t and if I’m honest it sounds quite depressing in terms of recruitment it all just seems a bit meh

I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

If Gale had any semblance of form I'd be a bit more optimistic, but he's shown very little.

Hookem could turn out to be a gem, but it's very early in his development. Same with McNamara.

Connor is the biggy with his link up play out the back to ice all our shift plays.

With the options at half, or lack of, do we try and find a full back internally who has a better pass selection than Shaul? Which obviously isn't his strength.

Would a spine of Litten, Lovodua, McNamara serve us better than Shaul, Lovodua, Gale?
