Has anyone heard any whispers with regards to Tony Smith for next season? I was speaking to an ex Hull FC player on holiday and he told me that he reckons that he'll be going there next season to replace Brett Hodgson?
I would love him back at Leeds in some coaching capacity as he would be the ideal man to assist Rohan and to also help sort our terrible disciplinary record out.

Rohan needs to be given time and space to work. Appointing Tony to some sort of overseer role would undermine his authority I would have thought. The players need to know that the buck stops with the coach - if he tells them to pull their neck in there shouldn't be some higher authority to whinge to unless its a huge issue.

Is that 5 outs and 5 ins or a total of 5 both in and out if that makes sense? Maybe Prior as outgoing.

Five outs: Mellor, Broadbent, Briscoe, Dywer and Thompson. Throw in Muizz and you've got six. Not enough salary cap or quota spaces to make a big difference though.

However if Tetavano and others including Prior and our other front row England international put in as much effort as Bentley we might be in a better position. Didn`t Bentley make something like 60 tackles on Friday?
he had 5 carries for 13 meters which is 2.6 meters per carry

Our lack of go-forward is a real problem, but it starts with the props. Not saying Bentley can't do better but its right up the middle we're getting mullered. Much like Warrington...the only difference being Powell has had longer to look at the problem and make some moves. Smith has only just arrived. Our previous coach apparently thought our pack was fine. Which is partly why he now our ex-coach.

The way i read the article it was another 5 out and 5 in. This excluded Mellor Thompson Broadbent as they have alteady declared they are off or gone.
