When I arrived at the ground and the Trinity players pre match warming up, Max Jowitt was amongst the group and I just assumed he was in the 17 to play. Please God, don’t let Gaskell or Lineham play for Trinity ever again. MJ on one leg and wearing a blindfold would outplay them both. I’ve had some lows in recent years watching Trinity, but today I have to say even the referee performed better than Trinity.

I guess you are involved in a business would you join one that boasts that it spends less on staff than any other, runs the business on low overheads and has a total annual ambition of just surviving until the next. This is the problem we are facing because if you add to that the loss of their best assets would you join.
I wonder if anyone at the club will make a statement apologising to those supporters who wasted their money and time just like other teams have done.

How predictable, you're a big man now after one defeat and now you have Snowie as your temporary new best buddy, you really are tragic.

Yes pimp, I'm delighted by that scoreline and in no way am I upset or angry, because only gobsh*tes like you feel those emotions. Happy?

I'd happily get rid of most of our squad and perhaps even the coaching staff.

Then I'd replace them with better.

Oh wait, I can't do that because I have no money because some fans think it's a great idea to get rid of the team by killing the club. Your logic is totally twisted.

Being a fane of most clubs is hard work, painful at times, especially ones like Trinity. However there is only one choice if you want the club to survive and that's to keep supporting it no matter what. It's what we are, supporters.

Couple of years back we hammered Hull by a similar margin, and Wigan. They have both recovered.

Still missing the point and cut out the insults, I have kids who are more grown up than you.

The club and the players are a one. I will help to save you typing more insults.

The players don't perform, the clubs loses. People stop attending and buying merch.

The club don't provide, IE. Suitable training facilities, personal support etc the players don't perform.

Yes, the club is doing everything right off of the field and need everyone's support going forward but again you missed the point.

MOST - read that word. Most people, myself included have bought tickets for the Wigan game already, they are cheap, I sit seated because I take my daughter. By refusing to go and losing a tenner, if done on mass, sends a message to the club.

I do hope that helps.

The club provides the finances to sign and retain players and coaches. If they fail in this then the team deteriorates because the more the better players leave there is no production line of juniors coming through fast enough and with enough ability to replace them which is of course the cheapest option. The club’s finances then decide what can be spent so yes it is their fault.
I know I am going against all you have been told but don’t worry your next instructions will follow shortly. I bet you noticed that I didn’t have to resort to insults, it’s a sign you should wait and not rush your replies after a defeat. I doubt Snowie would consider me his best mate but it is possible to agree on something I have with you on rare occasions and I definitely don’t count you as a friend.

What insult, it's a statement of fact, it was an idiotic comment in my opinion, I didn't call you an idiot, there is a huge difference, it's called debate.

No, I didn't miss any point. You may not be robbing the club of money, I'm a ST ticket holder so I won't. However what you are suggesting is negative and will encourage people who have not yet paid to stop attending. How can that possibly help?

The club cannot get rid of half a team this season even if they wanted to. I'm absolutely certain that the BOD know people are unhappy with that that result. I mean seriously do you honestly think they don't care and aren't as gutted as us. These people have sunk far more into this club than you or me. You don't have a monopoly on the pain, they are also fans, Jesus H it's not like there is a profit in it for them. There isn't even any prestige.

Like it or not we start again next week. It's gutting but nobody has a magic wand. The team, not the club, is in the doldrums, let's not push the club there aswell.

Personally if I were you I'd leave your daughter at home, she doesn't deserve to watch what we currently are. But me and you are adults and we will have to take it on the chin and hope better days are around the corner.

One final thought. I've criticised WP on another thread but then I had a thought. What if he too knows we have a team of chancers and lightweights, maybe he's let it be known that he wants a clear out and he's trying to work out who should stay or go. I suspect he knows after today that Minns and Gaskell are two of them.
Could be way off but as I'm not privy to such matters I can only speculate.

Sometimes you have to go backwards to go forward.

   Irony overload.

You really are a classic snide, and yes that is meant as an insult.

I’m just reading this thread and I have to chuckle.

Not laughing about the result or clearly the performance but the response of some of our fans.

When they say Trinity is a rollercoaster of emotion it really couldn’t be described any better.

Few people who were talking about too 6 after 2 wins are now saying we are hopeless again.

What a difference a week makes in the life of a Trinity supporter.

The reality is we are on paper a bottom 2 side this year. If we finish above that great season. If we finish bottom, terrible season, a disaster.

That is where we are as a club and more than likely will continue to sit until we sort a few things out.

Firstly and most importantly the stadium development and the revenue streams that could bring and also we have to phase out players on inflated wages. We can see both these things happening but they cannot happen overnight.

We are all passionate about Trinity and I guess that is why emotions lead to the bickering but maybe today is a day to go outside sit in the garden, enjoy a cold beer and forget this afternoon ever happened.

In 2 weeks time we have a huge game, and our outlook could be very bleak or one of elation, and let’s not forget we have a habit of giving Wigan a scare or 2.

Unofficially the most boring poster on Cherry and White.

Why bring me into your attempt at once again causing mischief on here, the difference is that the 3 of us have one thing in common, we go and watch the games whereas what do you do, instead of sitting in your deck chair at the side of the pool in Tirana Albania, you come on here to get your enjoyment at the clubs demise, what a star.
