I think we're looking at the prop situation all wrong, we need to get props 2 and 3 right first not 5 and 6. And Harrison is neither of those. If neither Tetevano or prior will leave then we have to over load cap space in the front row and free up some to get someone better with them becoming 3 and 4 (possibly 5 if Holroyd can get on the pitch). If we don't recruit better than those 2 we're not moving into that top 4 any time soon..

Jeez - we're quick to drop Prior like a sack of spuds. Hope he doesn't read these threads. He carried our pack for 2 years and his form has dropped off a bit this year. Hardly in the same bracket as Tetevano - who hasn't performed to the level he should have. If both go at the end of the season (which I don't think will happen btw) we are in major trouble in the front row. It will be panic stations in the transfer market. One bit of credit for Wire is that they've spotted it and acted early. We haven't - which suggests we either haven't spotted it, or both are staying next year.

I suspect Tetevano is staying, i'm still not convinced Prior will stay at the end of the season, that will be an interesting one but Leeds could do with knowing now. Can't believe we gave him 2 more years. i rate him, he's been excellent but this should have been his last.

Sorry, I'm struggling to be sentimental after watching dross for years. Prior was good in the first half of last season then dropped off and has been poor this season offering little. Fact remains our 2nd choice prop needs to be better than him or Tetevano.

Prior wasn't an out-and-out prop in the NRL - more of a 13. The classic 'middle' in fact. Not a player you want to use as a simple battering ram, same as Merrin before him.

Agree mate. 2 years for Prior was 1 year too many considering his age. I don`t think we are throwing him under a bus just saying he is no longer able to carry the pack.

I’m in agreement with this and do think he will return home.

It didn't bode well when he was kept out of all the preseason games. He's had a few mini breaks during the year too that haven't seemed to invigorate him.

Its hard to keep him going when he's been asked to play as a battering ram and take on generally much bigger opponents for long minutes. He wasn't (or shouldn't have been) signed to play that role.
