So is Liam Farrell but he just signed a new deal at Wigan and will play in the World Cup.
He says that 2017 was the pinnacle of his career, so considering how that ended I can't see why he wouldn't want to right that wrong.
I think he's a great player and he has obviously made this decision for reasons none of us will ever probably know, I just find it strange given we are in a WC year and he has a good if not great chance at being in the side. Looking at the squad for weekend he would definitely be in that you would think. Hopefully it isn't something he regrets when he looks back on his career.
