Have we secretly re-signed Agar?

Certainly feels like we've employed the Aussie equivalent. Hodgson missing out on the play offs 2 seasons running and he's got to go imo.

I’d release Gale and Reynolds on Monday and give some young players a chance until the end of the season.

I presume we will be releasing Reynolds anyway at the end of the season, however we can not let Gale play the number of games to trigger a further year of his contract. Every aspect of his kicking game is woeful and provides no creativity or leadership. Chuck in his needless 7 match suspensions and he’s been a total waste of what will be an expensive contract.

And what’s even worse about that?

He doesn’t look that bothered

Today yet again showed that Gale & Reynolds simply are not going to do anything for us. It was a pitiful performance from our experienced halfbacks, I honestly don’t think there was one positive in any of their play. The only reason I could see Gale hanging on to a place in the 17 was his kicking but even that is rank. We have no creativity whatsoever with either of them and out last plays are embarrassing or should that be non existent. I’m actually starting think that BH doesn’t know what he is doing as his team selection today was poor as was his use of interchanges. Whilst he didn’t flog Houghton for 80mins he did for the first 40 mins and he was done after halftime in that heat.
The one player who has been a standout this season in Mau and he looks to be going.
We looked a disorganised rabble today and admittedly Cats are a good side but we were miles off today and it’s a worrying sign of things to come without Connor.
For me BH needs to shake the side up and that starts with dropping both Gale & Reynolds who just offer nothing.

I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

Beginning to have doubts over BH now unfortunately.
Team selections and interchanges continue to look poor. No doubt we can use the injury excuse now.

At least with Sneyd he offered us points from his boot. Gales last option kicks are useless. His place kicking speaks for itself

The fact we can play like that against Wigan, and turn in the last two performances speaks volumes.

At a loss with it at the moment.

Agree, big doubts growing for me too, we are no better than under Radford or Last. He seems to be picking the team on names and salary size and not what is working.

He is an intelligent guy and a was a top player but that doesn't always translate into being a top coach

Its only because its the reporters last match covering Hull FC.He wouldnt have dared do that if he was staying on.
The new guy Dan Tomlinson knows a lot more about R/L than this one so lets hope he says it as it is rather than suck up to the club and not criticise players or the performance on the field when its deserved.

Not surprised by the result, or the performance...
Plenty of endeavour in defence as usual. Ball in hand, terrible.Catching, terrible. Absolutely clueless...
Reynolds, not sure, why he's played on the right, when other teams have their stand off on the left.
Hodgson's selection of 3 hooker's is bizarre.
For mine, I'd enquire if Maguire, Nathan Brown or Tony Smith would be interested in taking over at the end of the season.

Academy apart, hard to find too much to be positive about right now, if he plays Reynolds and Gale next week he should be sacked.

Season is going to be a diaster, exactly the same as last season, can't see where the next win is coming from.
