On the evidence from matches I suspect most of us would play Dean and Thewlis every game. But Powell does the opposite. Yes he's proved himself in the game and I've only watched it for almost sixty years but he is simply wrong in his decision making.

you cant call for the head of someone brought in to do a rebuild, when he hasnt had a chance to do it yet.
if we are this bad this time next season, then yea.... but not now.
No not this time next season, we would be 14 games in and that’s to much. It would need to be a lot sooner.
I scratch my head as to why of all of that team, Cooper is the one shown the door. I frankly don't give a flip if he's a bad egg, when he goes out on that field he gives 100% without fail and is far and away our best forward if not player! Loopy.

When he got Leeds to the top??

Sad to see a class player like Williams underperforming along with others. Either the players don't like the coach and his methods or he's not getting his message across. There is clearly something wrong. Powell did well at Cas and I've backed him 100% until now. Is he out of his depth at a "big" club and failing to value and respect what the players have to offer. The coach is the boss but a good coach is more than that. Perhaps that's his problem as I've rarely seen so many good players look so poor and lost. Still inclined to give him time but not until the end of the season. His promotion of young players is good but not the sole answer.
Give him time to rebuild? The rebuild started in October / November and his signings have been dross. Can you honestly trust him to do a complete overhaul and rebuild?
When a manager / coach takes over a new club you usually see some sort of change, an improvement and a sense of what they’re trying to do or achieve. Well not here.
He’s the wrong man, at the wrong time for me and before long he’ll be making Steve Price’s reign look like a golden era for the club, if it doesn’t already.
The club is an embarrassment from top to bottom.

Not really playing to Williams strengths though, are we? That’s tactical. That’s on Powell.
Powell’s the one picking the team. Powell’s the one leaving out several players who should be playing.
A bit of a cop out to absolve Powell of any responsibility whatsoever in all this shambles really, regardless of whether anyone wants him to stay or go.
