It’s now pretty nailed on, where does the club go from here?

On the other forum people are riffing on David Hughes having questions to answer. As the guy paying the bill he doesn’t really although it might assist if he did but in a hypothetical world my question would be a 3 parter. Who makes the decisions/creates the forward plans at Broncos? Are they on drugs? Why haven’t you replaced them?

I wouldn’t say the result means we are relegation certainties but the performance sounds like it supports that view. Was it really our best 17 today? If so, I think we are favourites to go down. Wonder what Victor and Torbeck think. Probably a few more hours before they get home and give us the full SP.

Hughes might pay the bills but that doesn't give him the right to destroy the club. I doubt Lobster is making the big decisions. After all, he still describes moving the club to Trailfinders as his greatest achievement on LinkedIn

I assume DH says something like “ I think Ealing is Mickey Mouse can we move somewhere better” or “we’ve been xxxx this a year I’m not paying FT wages for this will PT work.” That’s his call. I’m interested in who is saying no problem we’ll do this it’s bound to succeed. There has to be someone there who can say we can do this but the risks are x,y ,z and suggest we do things in a certain order. That person doesn’t seem to be setting out the risks and the plan correctly or it may be he does and DH ploughs ahead anyway in the face of advice to the contrary.

Danny Ward is on record as saying he didn't think PT would work in London and this was a factor in why he wouldn't stay beyond the end of last season. Hughes's response was to sack him.

But Buzza Ward’S job was to be coach not adviser/strategist. Unless Broncos is like some kind of Stalinist regime where everyone agrees with the governor there must surely be someone with some planning/policy/ strategy experience who can argue for and against DH wish list throw outs cogently so we get some kind of coherent outcomes. If not we are well and truly xxxxed.

True but it is an example of how Hughes treats people who don't see it his way. I wonder if Mustard's exit was accelerated by the interview he gave where he described the state of recruitment when he came in ?

You would expect the CEO to be influential but I wonder if they really are. Who decided to go PT, who decided to move the club (and split it across 3 venues), who decided to appoint an inexperienced coach, who prioritised Gold Lounge sales above all else ? If that really was Lobster then they should walk but I doubt it was.

TBH, If we beat Dewsbury away we still in a good shout to stay up. We should beat Barrow and Town at home + beat haven away gives 11 points which will be enough for 3rd from Bottom.

But lose to Dewsbury and it is curtains

It goes to L1 or it goes bust
