10 games is way over the top. Yes he sent and landed a few but we’ve seen much worse get a lesser punishment. Has he got a bad record or something?

You'll be referring to Flower effectively ending a player's career due to ongoing concussion issues. Thought Flower got a time penalty rather than games but Bongser is usually wrong. Most of that time ticked by in close season because he played for Wiggin.

Take Bongser's word for it or search his posts from the time, but was against Leigh signing him - and much good did he do us anyway.

I understand the need to protect the players but the game has honestly gone soft. Punching like Holroyd did should be 4 game maximum. But that cowardly shot from behind should be 8 at least. Honestly can’t believe Holroyd warrants a ban the same as a spear tackle or the Flower/Hohaia incident. Madness.

I was talking to a Referee at the W/E who sent an U15 Player off recently for throwing one Punch he received 5 matches + 5 Suspended he said the RFL are really clamping down at all levels

10 games is a joke for someone who does not have a bad record.
Previous bans this season for a 1 on 1 punch up got 5 games and like you have already said Pryce`s spear tackle got the same as Tom.
What is more galling is the fact Leeds did not appeal the ban yet appealed the Bentley one earlier in the season that got increased when most felt he deserved what he got at the time.
