Also included news about our new training facilities, and camps we are setting up around the country and overseas . Also in depth talk about kids ,that they are the future of the club . If you was there , you’d have been able to ask Brett what you wanted , especially why hookem isn’t playing . Young players can have all the ability in the world , but it takes more than ability alone .

Some of us have work and family commitments.

OK talking the talk about young players, but I've yet to see this in practice yet.

He could have played Hookem against Toulouse, we still would have won easily or he could have kept him at Whitehavem, but he did neither.

Reynolds has no ability but still gets picked.

Not had a bad career though has he , with no ability ! Getting boring now regards hookem and the Toulouse game !

Instead of trying to be clever why don't you enlighten us and actually back up what you've based your opinion on other than repeating the same rhetoric, as in all honesty on this subject you seem to come across as a WUM rather than offering any rationale instead trying to deride others with presumption and assumption.

As Dave K has said its one thing talking about things, but its another thing to actually do them.

I know Bonaire gets and cops a lot of flack for their posts which is a mixed bag for me as some I agree with and others I don't, however at least Bonaire gives the reasoning or a thought process behind the opinion posted.

I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

Now he has no ability, is that too hard to understand, too many injurys, he is finished.

If you don't like what I say, easy to block me, you have no answers to anyone's points.

It’s boring because it’s constant hookem in the team blah blah blah , should have played against Toulouse etc ….. he didn’t so move on . Like I said. Back the coaching team , they know more than us and see the players daily .

My take on it and there isn't a right or wrong on the subject is that hookem isn't progressing as well as BH hoped he would , maybe the injuries have affected him but the fact that we were happy with Whitehaven to play him at 9 could suggest that halfback might not be the position the coaches see for him in the future. Dissapointing that he hasn't been in any 17 this season but I can understand if Reynolds and gale are available then they play,we so need them to start getting a connection on the pitch

I wouldnt mind giving Gale and Reynolds a few games together as long as it means we can get Johnstone out of the 17 and inject some pace at 9.

Dave K. wrote:Unfortunately Hodgson has his favorites and thinks too short term like the Toulouse game, we need to build for the future, the only way to compete with Wigan and Saints is to build for the youth and he would rather play Johnstone at scrumhalf than play a young halfback who he admitted looked the part in his one game and should play more this season.

I have said this for ages about Hodgson and also that he is too loyal to certain senior players but the posse on here will never agree.
Whats the betting he drops Connor Wynne and replaces him with Griffin.

I think he showed me today that he should have been picked earlier. I probably didn’t have enough faith in what Jacob could do on game day but he showed today, he handled himself very well".

The comments he made about Hookem I wouldn't say come across as being ambiguous more a genuine honest appraisal of both Hookem and his own admission that he was wrong not to have considered him more.

That is one of the main reasons I'm disappointed that Hodgson hasn't given him an opportunity so far when we have been pretty poor in the halfs so far and he spoke highly of him previously. Thats my own thoughts and opinion and in all honesty how do you know what others are thinking or using to form their opinions?

Another smart booty Chris, not worth replying to half of them

So Hodgson says he's ready, but no it's just people copying others opinions

Il hold my hand up, I agree with Hodgsons words and that's he's ready and should play hahahaha!!!!!!
