Finally a chance to play two games without a weekend off , on the back of probably our best performance of the season for the most part on what most thought would be a closer encounter we roll onto what is our biggest game of the season context wise.

York are having a great season and have only lost to Featherstone and Leigh and must be respected especially with home advantage, ford and Grix two promising young coaches clash for the first time and it should be a cracker. We know Harris from his time at fax will be a danger , I think ford as got a well balanced side with a blend of superleague experience and top championship players similar to fax.

I think the game will be close and will probably be decided on who completes their sets better and keeps the ‘ brain explosions’ to a minimum. We have threats all over the park and it’ll be interesting to see how York handle that as York have a pretty good defensive record . A win puts us within 2pts of York and a loss 6pts behind . Anyway looking forward to this one and hoping for a fax win .

I am looking forward to my first trip to York's new ground and would expect a tough game from start to finish. York look strong in defence and are consistently winning games which is a good habit to have and they will be confident of winning. However i will go for a fax win 16-23 and then we have another week off yippee.

What makes it more ridiculous is according to the fixtures we then play the 2nd (dewsbury) the 5th (Leigh)

I’m going for a Panthers win but it will be close. Then we have a week off before the two games on the 2nd and 5th June. The positive for me is that it could be a good time to beat Leigh. They have 3 games in 7 days. So we could have a flying start to June!

Aye and then we play i think Whitehaven away the sunday after the leigh game and then guess what another week off when england play the exiles. As for the leigh game i think they could rest some players for there game with barrow on the thursday and then bring the big guns back for when we play them on the sunday either way i think we will be up against it when we play them.

This should be a cracking game and both teams will be going into it full of confidence. This season looks like a mirror image of last year but now we have got a settled team we look much more the part. York have built their winning run around a solid defence but the way SG has got us playing we allus look capable of scoring. As has been said, keep the penalties down and make the least mistakes and I think we should be o.k. Fax by 10. :thumb:

Hear All, See All, Say Nowt.
Eat All, Sup All, Pay Nowt.
And if Tha ever does Owt for Nowt,
Allus do it for Thissen.

On Liam, have to watch out for his short kicking game.
When attacking close to the line he regularly likes to drop it on his foot and stab it in behind the defence, it’s definitely a training ground play and the rest of the team are there in numbers for the follow up chase.

Undecided on this . Keep tibbs at Centre and we might just sneak it . Discipline will be the decider.
