I think playing off a beaten pack at Leeds though was never really going to allow him to play at his best.

It wasn’t just that, he hated the culture at Leeds and the way they didn’t support him. Put him in a positive culture and he is thriving

Briers is being credited with a lot of the improvement at Wigan. But how do you know it's coming from him? There was very little evidence of the same at Warrington?

Maybe they didnt listen to him.
I personally put a lot of credit to Peet and some to Briers and Lockers as there has been a massive change in the style we play this year compared to the last few.

Wigan do seem to be the most improved team of 2022 so far, Peet appears to be leading them to the best of their abilities.

Fair enough. Reflects poorly on Warrington then as they seemed to hate Briers and marginalised him at every opportunity.

No idea what his responsibilities were at Wire, but a few Wigan players have publicly spoken about the changes he has made to our attack.

Seemed as in 'I got the impression' as I wasn't there. Go look at the threads on the Warrington forum about Briers, they're a mix of people saying he should be sacked as he's just there as a 'jobs for the boys' arrangement and he brings nothing and people saying he needs to have more say in the coaching setup because he could sort the attack.
