Armavinit wrote:Your pathological hatred of certain players is ridiculous and you’ve even stated it on a topic praising the club for giving a good up and coming player an extension. Completely nothing to do with it but you have to get your digs in, these are not the actions of a real FC supporter. Griffin was carrying an injury when he didn’t make the line, he ended up with his lower leg in a boot, which you tried to write off as the club and player making an excuse for being dropped, your words not mine. Yourself and Talent should give up the ghost. All over the forum when we lose but nowhere to be seen when a win, then come on to try and criticise some little thing that happened in the game.
Anyway, back on topic, great news regards Wynne’s extension.
Couldn't have put it better myself

A bit louder please Griffin back up second row.Thats how i also see it
There are some on here who think he is Mal Meninga

He hasn't look the same since his injury, maybe lost a bit of confidence, but he still has plenty to offer.

Your comments on Yeaman are nonsense too, he was a bit limited, but a fantastic player for Hull, meaning he made drae, teams and many England caps.

England Squad? has he ever played no.I wonder why
I also dont agree that he has been a good signing. He has had one good season 3 years ago and you cant seriously think every Hull Fc fan think he has been a good signing.Even on here and this is a real pro Griffin forum people are questioning his position as a left centre in front of Wynne and Mitch. That said it wouldnt surprise me to see Hodgsons loyalty to some senior players and play Griffin ahead of Wynne.
As regards Yeaman. He had been a great player for Hull but the last three seasons he stole a living thats fact not nonsense. You surely cant deny that

Are you stuck in a time warp?

You seem to have a real problem understanding the meaning of “form”.

Fans, including me, are saying that on current form Griffin is behind Wynne and Mitch. That’s fair enough.
But that doesn’t mean he has been a bad signing. In fact for me he has been a very good signing and played far more good games than bad.
That doesn’t guarantee him a place in the side though.

We've had exceptional service from Griffin since he signed.

The good thing is we have 2 good young centre options in Wynne and Scott when Griffin and Carlos decide to call it a day.

Griffin has been unlucky in the past not to get picked internationally. He should have been in the Lions squad in 2019. He was in the 2020 England training squad before Covid and his Achilles injury put and end to that.

Understandably he hasn't returned to his form before his injury and is probably behind Wynne now although Odgo might still prefer the more experienced man for the next couple of games.

I like the idea of Griff as a sub. He has changed games off the bench in the past. He can play second row as well as 1-5 so ticks Hodgeson's box for having back cover on the bench.
