Most of their squad man for man is probably no better than ours. But they play as a team and have a steely spirit. You notice this when they score a try. Our team is the complete opposite. Little team spirit. If we were playing today and went behind like Wigan did in the second half we would have caved in.
Yes. Their togetherness and organisation is quite striking. Some very effective players though- Farrel showing how to play 2nd row. Tenacious in defence and fast and potent with ball in hand.
Thought Saints might have got a cheap penalty for a high shot on Hurrell in the last play of the game, meanwhile the Kenney-Dowell 'try' looked far from conclusive to me - noting it went to the VR as a 'No Try' (not that it would have changed the overall result).

Oh well, all good TV drama !
Hardly any drama with the Kenney-Dowell decision, as the game was done and only a few minutes left on the clock. There was no real need for the VR, and Moore should just have backed his own judgement to stop unnecessarily extending the game waiting for someone else to make the call.
I was surprised that the tackle on Hurrell was not penalised, too.

You have gone and done it now.
The Sad one will be on here shortly, saying it was a conspiracy to prevent St Helens from winning a certain treble and that they were robbed.

Thought Hill had a great game for Hudds yesterday and that it was a very good team performance from them, albeit against a HKR side who mainly just ran around like headless chickens!
Hill's delight at the end of the match great to see, even though it only proved again what Wire are missing by not keeping hold of him.

I am afraid that Wigan look very good and that Hill will be on for his 7th losing final appearance. That must be some sort of record.
