It’s difficult to see how Dunning will move drastically away from the current style when he has been heavily involved with the JK way for so long. He will clearly get a few weeks to show some improvement and it is only natural that he will be asked about the position. From a PR point of view, it would be seen as another cut back in funding and would do little to encourage fans back.
The incoming coach has a bit of dead wood that needs to be moved on, hopefully following Kear to his next job.

It was just something he saying in the interview about wanting to instill his style on the players and playing attractive rugby again if it meant we can put more in the squat I’d be up for it
We need a "great reset" new coach, new culture & attitude. Get some players in shape as well as getting rid of some. At the minute we operate and look like what we are, a team sitting 9th in the second tier. It needs addressing pretty quick as the crowds speak for themselves.

Andrew Henderson would be a sensible appointment as Head Coach, to reset the Kear regime.

I see there was a statement put up on the Bulls site last evening but it seems to have gone now.
He was saying they've had around a dozen expressions of interest. They are going to advertise and maybe look to interview at the end of the month sometime
It did seem like there was a certain lack of urgency. I mean, everyone in RL knows the job is vacant. They could have set a date for this coming Friday and interviewed next week.
The cynical part of me wonders if Wood hopes Dunning makes a fist of it and they can appoint him on the cheap until the end of the season?

Leeds sacked agar on 21st March. Rohan Smith took over this week so about 5-6 weeks. Bulls will be a similar timescale it's crucial we get the right appointment and if it takes time so be it.
