Great 1st half performance with some great tries and a good solid all round performance, unfortunately the 2nd half was a bit flat and disjointed. Overall with the travel I would have taken the score beforehand and a wins a win . After the two week break we’re going to have to turn it up a notch with two important and tough games against Sheffield and York .
Game of two halves with the attack looking dangerous with some good link ups for a couple of the length of the field efforts with the odd lapse in concentration for the solitary poorly conceded try. Oddly enough the left hand edge looks both good in the attack and poor in defence in equal measures lately, not sure why. Second half I expected us to weather the Thunder storm for the first 10 or 15 and then for us to kick on but it didn't happen and we didn't look like we were on the same page at times, strange but in the end another vital 2 points.
Like has been said, really good first half but second half just looked like a team going through the motions wanting to get the game done with so they could get out on the slash. A win is a win but playing a bunch of kids I don't think we showed them enough respect in the second half.

But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid."― Albert Einstein "Everybody gets so much information all day long that they lose their common sense." ― Gertrude Stein "Don't believe everything you read on the internet" ― Abraham Lincoln
Just to repeat what as already been said we looked in the first half like we were carrying on from last week. We were creating plenty of chances all over the pitch and took the majority of them to give ourselves a comfortable half time lead. And i was hoping we would really put newcastle to the sword but we seemed to go to sleep in the second half with a very all-round disjointed performance which you can get away with in a game like yesterdays but we need to develop a more ruthless side to our play for future games. And our left side defense was again a week spot which needs to be put right as soon as possible. Tibbs did seem to hurt his knee early doors when we scored our first try and to be fair he looked a threat in attack but missed a number of one on one tackles i think he would be best on the wing. Like as been said i would of probably of taken that score before a ball was kicked but when you are 24-6 up at halftime i would of expected a far better second half then that. And finally thanks for small mercy's for durham services i was springing a leak when i got there and set a 100 meters personal best sprinting from the car to the toilets.

We could have to make a couple of changes ourselves with jacob banned and woody going off injured last week i still think we will have enough to win this one 14-30 to fax.
Not a bad predication.
