I wondered how long it would be before he got suggested
I don't know if the club are inviting applications - it would be interesting to see if he throws his hat into the ring if we do. It didn't exactly end well for him when he had his second playing spell with us did it?
I think Chev Walker is an interesting possibility. Seems to be well-regarded at the Rhinos and could find himself edged out if Rohan Smith wants to have his own people as assistants.

I don’t quite get it that way. Since Wood took over I get the feeling the off field stuff has slowly improved year on year. The new commercial guy seems to building links with local businesses, there are small but incremental improvements to the stadium. But it is all incremental- I don’t think we’ll ever be in a position to say to a coach that the playing budget has gone up by 50% But more likely 5%, that sort of thing.
And we still portray ourselves to the RL world as a big club.
We run a first team, reserves, scholars, womens team, wheelchair team, disability team. We still have a senior dance troop and the junior dancers. In short , we still do all the things we used to in SL. How many other clubs still do all that? Do we need to have a conversation about priorities?

Fair enough. Maybe its about communicating better with the fans then?
Because I wasn't really aware of some of that (my excuse could be that I don't live in Bradford anymore)

We’re not a big club now and no-one sees us that way.
We have the potential to be a big club again but I genuinely fail to see how that happens without a sizeable, sustained investment.
Got to feel sorry for Kear although it's the right decision. Feel sorry because I felt he was assembling a good squad which was ripped apart in the last financial meltdown, Minicello,Ryan,Storton, Milne's and Keyes gone to Hull K R . All except Keyes playing regular SL.
Beer is the root of all my problems, ironically it solves them too Homer
They would have all gone anyway, the championship is the gateway to superleague, we won’t have such as Doyle next year as he will end up at a superleague club for sure
