No i cant but dont forget he was playing with Sneyd which certainly didnt help his style of play and at that time Sneyd was running the show at halfback.
Its different now because with Gale out he would be the go to man and thats why in the short term and with Shaul available to go to his natural position at full back it would be a sensible move.
Hodgson though seems to have decided that its full back for Connor and Shaul will have to make do with the odd appearance on the wing

Yes good point about sneyd and I think that's why McNamara has looked better this season everything was thru sneyd. With Jamie looking better on Sunday it's certainly a option but I just think with the injuries we have in the backs he will keep Connor at 1
