Yep. Tetevano has effectively been paid double time at a marquee rate while he's been here. One of our worst ever big money signings.
"Look, I'd never use injuries as an excuse..." Daryl Powell
Based on watching him in the NRL I was delighted when we signed Tetevano. The Rhinos version bears no relation performance wise. I remember when we signed Tet Agar saying we were looking for an enforcer. Maybe in the early days he was encouraged to focus on that side of his game.
I've no doubt when he signs for his next club he'll return to the level of his NRL performances. Getting recruitment right is hard enough but we've consistently failed to get the vast majority of signings in recent years to perform even to their average level.

My god shabs, are you a cave man? I wouldnt say it to an u12's face either, not through fear, but because im not a d*ckhead. If Zane ever approched me and asked my opinion of his time at Leeds, id tell him.
You would also be wrong in assuming that everybody posting on a forum would be scared, if thats what your insinuating, of a RL player, theres some very capable people about.
As it happens, we dont need to justify what we put in here on wether we'd say it to someones face.

He needs to go, what is it now 2-3 games then 2-3 game ban. Thinks its even one game back this time. Contract or not, can have his contact terminated for gross misconduct, performance management.
I'm not defending Tetevano specifically, but the judiciary is ridiculous at the moment. A good rule of thumb is that a suspension post-game should have at least been close to a sending off during the game. Just look at the number of suspensions handed out after the last round - six players banned. That means close to a send off should have happened in every game. Utter nonsense. Either referees are missing a huge amount of foul play or the judiciary has lost its collective mind.
I'm all for protecting players from high shots and playmakers from foul play, but these suspensions are for all kinds of different things that in the past would barely have merited a penalty.
He's been one of the worst leeds signings of the super league era. Suspended and injured nearly as much as he's played, on more money than most in the squad and not done a right lot when he has been on the pitch. Dreadful. We've essentially got 2 props in the squad who do a job.

It’s a joke and further ruining the game as a spectacle. It does feel that some players have their card marked and others get away with stuff….
