Not bothered about Abdul going to Rovers, although better than our current halfs, but massive mistake by Radford letting Litten go.
We were terrible yesterday Keith, probably the worst we have played, but Rovers did well, particularly looking at the players injured and ones Smith choose not to select.
Wish our coach would have the guts to do that.
I don’t like to see excellent club stalwarts receiving criticism. Not sure whether Houghton has gone on too long or he is not being used properly. I’m a great believer that players should retire a year too early rather than a year too late. Doing the latter tends to diminish their legacy.

James Roby is three years older than Houghton but they both became regular starters around 2011. Those extra years spelling Cunnigham has helped him extend his career (I'm not comparing Houghton and Roby in quality, of course).

You watch saints and their defence is allover everyone like a rash. Doesn't matter how good you are when you're smothered by fitter and stronger athletes for 80 minutes. It's fundamental in modern RL and we're miles behind.

I’ve just watched the Saints v Wigan game, it’s restored my wonder at how our game should be played, absolutely superb entertainment, both teams excellent, but that Sam Powell tackle made me shudder, have we gone from penalising every touch on a players collar, to ten minutes for a neck breaker, the madness of the RFL.
