I liked the way he spoke in interviews, and the players seemed to respect him, seemed like he didn't take any poop, and had the sense to put Houghton on the bench when out of form.

I don't think he d pussyfoot around the big egos.
No thanks - have we not leaned - no more first time head coaches. We need someone with experience. I've had enough of us being a training school for coaches - not that any of them have gone on to great success elsewhere.

Yes it's by far each clubs biggest revenue maker and yes it hurts when you lose one...but surely both clubs want the dream of a top4/playoff/cup final derby not a scrap for 7th place like it often is.
Been saying this for atleast 10 years
Our fans celebrating under the concourse at magic weekend anytime we play rovers
Yet Wembley not even half like that
Got it wrong way round
Last week hardly any build up to our quarter final.... People were talking like this game was bigger

There's nothing we can do until the of season before we make big changes. One advantage is that we can release some of the underperforming big earners and rebuild the squad. Replace them with potential not has-beens.
Position wise we are about par. Lets get through the season aim for the top six and at least put in some decent performances.
Bad times at the moment but as fans we need to get behind the team.
But we keep giving the deadwood new deals
Taylor has been crocked for 4 years
Houghton - saints, wire, catalan, Wigan, Cas, rovers, Leeds hooker are all better than him
Players like swift are ok but how are we expected to challenge saints etc signing their rejects?

I’ve kept my council since the Huddersfield quarter final, in that game which was so important regarding future financial rewards alone, we were so flat, and in truth we never looked like winning, I’ve rarely seen a challenge cup game in memory which we seemed to have no enthusiasm for, and ultimately got what we deserved.
The Derby was like ground hog day, beaten by a much more committed team, out enthused, and alarmingly we offered virtually no threat again.
It saddens me to say, the recruiting of Reynolds, Gale, and Hodgson has been a disaster, I don’t know if it’s James Clark sanctioning these signings, but the majority of rugby league supporters could of told him these two halves were finished, no cohesion in the team, and seemingly no grey matter, no threat or strike anywhere on the park, the two most important games of the season so far, we have failed miserably.
I said last season, I’ve seen no discernible change or improvement in our play since Brett took over, in fact we are in decline, no pace, no timing, stop Jake and we offer no recognisable form of footie whatsoever, rudderless, clueless.
