Some of us remember that these measures were brought in to combat the biggest, acute public health crisis for decades and who told us (rightly) that rigorous, universal adherence to the rules was necessary to save lives and prevent the NHS being overwhelmed.

As I said, for someone who doesn't care, you seem to care a lot about defending someone based on a stance of your doing it, defending him, because everyone else is picking on him unfairly. Even though time and time and time again thise people are explaining why they're criticising him with IMO mostly rational arguments.
