After watching saints is it all about who they beat in the semi final and the final ?

They are the only SL team who play like they do in the NRL strong quick and skilful across the team .

Other SL teams can do it in bursts and have part of the package but saints seem a class above everyone else at the minute

Huddersfield Giants 2013 over achievers

Huddersfield Giants 2014 under achievers ??????????

Hard to disagree with that DG.
Despite coming unstuck at Toulouse they look head and shoulders above the rest of their SL rivals.
They aren't as potent without Walmsley but, still probably too good for the rest.

Would like a Lancashire v Yorkshire final, was going to say prefer a Saints v Wigan semi final but I,m not sure if the Wigoons will beat Wakey this afternoon. Then I just realised Wakey can’t play their 3 best players.

The new young dynasty of super saints is coming to a ground near you.
Welsby-Dodd-Simms-Eaves-Rizzelli, not Eastmond...the future is coming.

Stains wont have it all their own way in the semi.

Hopefully Hull KR get to the final. Their fans deserve a day out, some of the best fans in SL. Huddersfield don't have any fans, so another awful cup final attendance would be achieved, likely a record low.

The Saints v Wigan semi is intriguing. I have my doubts about Wigan's improvement, they are getting a lot of hype, yet started with 7 wins from 7 last season and were nowhere near. But if they're as good as everyone claims them to be, they can beat Saints. They were an awful side two years ago in the Grand Final and only lost in the last minute and as Warrington proved a few years back, big games can always produce a shock. This year they have a big threat in Field and French that they've not had over the last couple of years. Saints have also been decimated by injury and suspension this season, with seemingly any penalty resulting in a ban so far.

With all the hype Wigoons will be red hot favourites and Field will skin us alive.

Giants have been quietly getting on their business and probably look slightly more solid and improving to win a one off knock out game.

I dont have any doubts of the improvement in Wigan only a 1eyed stains fan would think otherwise.
compared to last year its like watching a different team, good defence and can score outstand tries from any where on the pitch.
Sorry to hear you are decimated by injury and suspensions this year.
