Once Carlos is back, play Griffin in the backrow, makes so many meters, but looks to have lost a yard of pace after his injury.
Against a big Huddersfield team in the forwards Playing Griffin in the second row would have been a smart move then we could have played Connor Wynne at centre who is much more of a threat at centre than Griffin, and left out Johnstone. Carlos will not be back for the derby Beginning to think like you we may have to use Connor at six and find a full back with pace and more positional sense as he was nowhere to be seen for McQueens try

I'm starting to agree too, that Connor shouldn't be our long term full back. However I don't blame him for the McQueen try. It was 1st tackle and he was just shadowing the ball, it was a nice heads up play by Giants. It's poor to see him not been able to get anywhere near Lolohea though

What? Griffin is lightning fast, great defence, and the ball handling skills of a Harlem Globetrotter and how he is not an England International ill never know

He is carrying a lower leg injury Dont know who makes the decision to play whether its the player or the physio dept in this case
I think we turned up to blaise, just rock up its the cup throw the ball about, could sense it in the warm up interviews.
Criminally under used the props
And we need a clear leader, as some of the ends to the sets of 6 still leave alot to be desired even after sneyds departure.
Satae looked knackered 10 minutes on, clearly not match fit.
Griffin for me has been poor this season, often putting us under pressure with errors or brain darts or general sloppiness. Often smoothed over by an odd decent carry. Needs to do better.
Mentality all wrong today we should of won the forward battle first and foremost, but tried playing like the harlem globe trotters while getting the basics very wrong
I said pre match on here . We make the same mistakes over n over again Players are Not 100% fit playing busted comes back to bite you on the butt. Yes we know experience counts but if not fully fit ,then use the squad depth

if the forwards dont get us on top the halves cannot perform. Just look at Leeds. Two top class halves but no forward power to lay a platform Indiscipline is our Achilles heel and the coach seemingly cannot do anything about it The first half was a disaster with five errors and five penalties and obvious lack of possession but yet had it not been another brain fart by our future England International centre we still could have snatched the win

What makes you think Leeds have two top class half’s? The best half we had is playing for you!
