They then changed their mind later. Cas we’re on their way with stadium plans and at that point things would have gone ahead. You clearly preferred administration. Your original stadium plan was quite rightly turned down because you wanted to build it on green belt land - if that was a housing development no doubt you would have been praising the council for preventing it! No one was talking about merging the two clubs only sharing a stadium. You had a brilliant opportunity to have something unique, a real rugby league hub in West Yorkshire. Sharing costs for resources would have saved you money-and brought in more sponsorship. Some poor business decisions made based on pride. perhaps you’d have a bit more to spend where it matters.
0/10 see me after school
Go back and check you "facts" with what actually happened and perhaps try again. Columbo, you most certainly are not.

and wakey fans resorting to type with the personal attacks every single one of you not actually addressing anything I said but the vast majority calling me names, and making personal attacks, sums up the club really.

Perhaps you could post a link to the alleged groundshare that you say Trinity turned down ?
Also, if you dont want people to have a pop at you, perhaps you should do some research before posting false information.
Clearly, your original post was designed to have a go at Trinity but, now you complain when Trinity fans have a go back at you, for posting nonsense, in an attempt to score some points.

are you seriously trying to take some kind of moral high ground here? I've had a go at the decisions made by the club, and your terrible facilities, what I have not done is made personal comments or called anyone names. have a go at my club and fans in general if you must but but I've been called a hag, an idiot, a sad person, and the rest - not to mention the general misogyny on show. Think its you that must try harder. This is the kind of thing seen on the terraces we are trying to get rid of. You must be so proud.

Maybe because we have yet to see evidence to the contrary? You’re a very bitter individual.

Again, what do you expect, "a free hit" ??
The article you linked to was merely a suggestion of a shared facility. No mention of where it would be or how it would be funded ??
Neither Car or Wakefield were willing to share a ground in their opponents back yard and I'm 100% behind that.
Would you groundshare at Halifax or Bradford ?
Hence he comment about "must try harder".
You really should have looked a bit deeper into this before passing your comments. It's not as though the "proposed" shared ground was ever more than an idea, thrown in by the local council.
Perhaps you could mention the pie in the sky article, the idea that WMDC would build Trinity a new stadium, whether Trinity chose to use it or not - that one was a beauty This was another baseless piece of political poop but, there's been a hell of a lot of that since 2012
As for moral high ground ? not in the slightest.
It seems ridiculous that an ill informed fan of another club should try to tell people what Trinity could or could not have done, when they aren't too clear on the full facts. Especially when the club they support has "stolen" a place from one of their rivals by some kind of "merger".
Perhaps, with hindsight, you shouldn't have poked the hornets nest
Are Wakey fans being lectured to about their club by a fan of a club which:
Murdered another, successful and important club to avoid relegation Was gifted a share in a new, primarily soccer, stadium which they could never have afforded any other way Lose millions of pounds year after year but are fortunate to be underwritten by a very rich man
A bit of humility, empathy or even self-awareness would be in order you'd think.
"Brian McDermott, with a wry smile, nods when asked if he remembers a specific incident which made him realise he was a prick. 'I do', he murmurs."
