It often starts like at saints by thinking ex olayers can instantly be top class coaches.
That is rare.
Thought they played with a decent amount of intensity last night. Saints had 6 players missing similar to the no of players missing from Leeds, but Saints have more squad depth and play with structure. Leeds were a bit too lateral last night and allowed the Saints defensive line speed to move up with agression, they missed Dwyer last night with his quick scoots to break things up. The best teams have good pivots in 1, 6, 7 and 9 Saints have real quality there other teams struggle in that department and. Leeds are one of them at the moment, Sezer and Austin are playing like donkeys.

Oledski apart, Leeds pack is bang average (maybe not even that good), Austin is stealing a wage and they desperately need Myler back in the side for some creativity. It's bizarre to think that pre season, many people were tipping Leeds as a top 4/5 side - maybe in the Championship they would be
I watched the game with the sound down thanks to that base drum, so I don't know what interpretations/excuses were given, but i thought Child was very charitable towards Handley twice, the stiff arm and the up ending were both sin bins in my eyes.

Without getting into a discussion over Agar and his tactics or lack of, I for one thought that Leeds might have been a lot better than they are, you can blame injuries but most teams have those, but the players recruited for this season have let him down badly for my money.

There were a couple of incidents from both sides which were an automatic yellow card a few weeks ago.

Flakey Blake was stealing a living for the last 2 years, trust me.
I can't believe Sean Long is still there. They're absolutely horrendous with the ball. I think 3 sets in a row they just died with the ball on the 5th, then the next set they kicked on the 1st tackle...?

He looks miserable now similar to when he was assisting Cunningham, not a happy chappy will he go to Union for his future.
