Put one in the bin and let the other go gardening and let's get on with more important things. I'm pretty sure Boris has sent his fridge back to Curries so it won't happen again.

Do you think so.
Parties are all ok again now, especially if the issue disappears in a Ukrainian "fog"..
The bottom line is that Bojo & Co broke the very laws that he and his cabinet voted in.
Mind you, given his input into dodgy peerages and (initially) using party funds to decorate his flat, expecting him to adhere to the law is always going to be unwise.

Even a staunch supporter like yourself must admit that they were indeed taking the mickey.

Why should ANYONOE now follow ANY rules or, do we just put these things down to the privileges that come with the job ?

They are not only alleged to have broken their own laws they laughed doing so. They know that supporters like wire-quinn would stand by them or at least disappear from the forum until they can use a situation to distract from de Pfeffel many failures and lies which now appears to be spreading to all members of the cabinet.

Let's move on as its trivia in the bigger scheme of things as we now have more important issues to be dealing with. I'm sure Boris and co have behind closed doors have had time to reflect, plus received significant negative feedback from his peers.
Stop holding grudges and move on. It was just a quiet period where the press thought they would flex their muscle and try and remove a standing PM. Unfortunately they failed. Does that attempt by the press not worry you more in a democracy???

You sound like a primary school teacher. "If everyone talks at the same time we cant hear the person talking". The reality is that all the kids wouldn't talk at the same time. Grow up.

You do realise that others were following the rules, I myself had to go to my Mother’s funeral which was restricted to 10 people only. I do not consider it a trivial matter and I am sure majority of the population will feel the same. I think you need to get back into the real world and not the alternative reality of the Conservative party but in your case that is never going to happen. I suppose there is no cost of living crisis coming which will impact even you unless you are still at school and living at home.

For someone who likes to see "the bigger picture", surely, if those who make the laws of the land dont adhere to them, why on earth should the rest of us.
You do seem happy to allow the clowns in no 10 to do as they please, while "the rest of us" comply.

Sorry pal but, these things necessarily cut both ways.

You may be happy to be in your place but, for me, we should all be equal. After all, we all enter the world in the same way and we all end up pushing up the proverbial dasies..

People need to earn respect and this lot deserve none, they are mickey takers of the highest order.

As for growing up, I agree, It's time that our government started doing what they were elected to do albeit most of their manifesto was an utter sham.

Brexit :oops:
Levelling up :oops:
New Hospitals :oops:
50,000 extra police :oops:
50,000 new nurses :oops:
Pension triple lock :oops:
No NI increases :oops:

It's easy to see why you were taken in,, maybe the "posh" accent and constant lies are acceptable to you but, not for me, pal :SUBMISSION:

In simple terms this is very true sadly in reality its very different. Maybe this is where your bitterness stems from, as your communist views just don't stack up. Some are born with disabilities, some high intelligence, some tall, some born into wealth ............... Isn't Putin generally regarded as one of the worlds wealthiest people. I don't see myself in society as equal to let's say a consultant surgeon, in many regards they have far more responsibility than me, will earn more than me, are far more intelligent than me and as such have a very different standing to me (Generally) in society. Ive put generally as I know you're a pedant.

Nurse numbers are increasing;
Police numbers are increasing;
He's still pushing on with increasing hospitals;
NI increase to help social care and NHS - see above;
Do you hold Cameron responsible for Brexit or is it all Boris?? Brexit isn't all that bad; and
Gove has been appointed to level up, it isn't going to happen over night

You seem to have forgotten the impacts of coronavirus (im assuming thats Boris too)

Thoughts on the Erdington outcome????

You’ve mentioned Erdington a couple of times. I guess it was pushed out of the news by Ukraine. It also seems to be a not very exciting or surprising turn of events (having looked it up). I guess you’re seeing something in it that I may have missed?

Just like your hero, you have come up with a wish list, rather than some concrete numbers or actually meeting ANY promises.

Moving on. The Met say that they have issued 20 fines for the goings on at No 10 but, of course dont name any names.
You mat recall Bojo standing up in Parliament, on multiple occasions, telling us that "the rules were followed at all times". Looks like another tray full of "pork pies".

Mis leading Parliament used to be a resignation "offence" but, I wont hold my breath.

If the OBR are correct, the "hit" that we will take due to Brexit would have paid for many of the things on Bojo's wish list.
I wonder if he may have to cut back on his list, notwithstanding the fact that he has a ready made excuse (covid) for failing (again).

All the money and police time wasted to issue a few £100 fixed notices is shocking. The Met should be ashamed that they have become political.
Good riddance Dame Dick lets move on.
