Taken from the squad thread, and with May fast approaching:
Jamie Shaul (2022-?)
Josh Bowden (2022)
Josh Reynolds (2022+1)
Connor Wynne (2022+1)
Joe Lovodua (2022)
Danny Houghton (2022)
Jordan Johnstone (2022)
Cameron Scott (2022)
Manu Ma’u (2022)
Mitieli Vulikijapani (2022)
Luke Gale (2022+1?)

Hopefully the option on Wynne is in our favour, would definitely be taking that up. Lovodua would be a top priority for me.

Keep Wynne Lovodua and Scott

Undecided on Mitch and Gale. Depends who is available.

The rest should be released (providing we can find suitable replacements)

Keep lovodua, Wynne shaul, mitch and gale

Still think gale and shaul have a lot to bring

Gale is one of the best halfs in the comp still when fit

Lovodua, Scott and Wynne should be soon and the priority

I'd also extend Mitch for another year, but that might depend of the army.

Undecided on Gale and Houghton, see how the next couple of months go.

Release Bowden, Shaul, JJ, Reynolds and Ma'u.

Gives us some cap and 2 quota spots to play with.

Sign 3 players, including a halfback and hooker and promote with replace Bowden and JJ.

That's more or less how I'd see it, although I do think Gale will prove his worth in the coming months, Leeds fans are already bemoaning his exit and subsequent replacement, Sezer, so with the dearth of good halves available, would maybe look at another year for him.

I know Houghton has done well in some games this year, but we do have a tendency to hold on to players for that year too many, so I'd be scouring the Aussie young guns for a replacement, the talent pool is so much larger over there, hence how we found Lovodua, who is proving an excellent acquisition, despite being relatively unknown.

I don't think Shaul brings anything. Mitch and Wynne constantly impress when drafted in. They are our back-up backs

Pretty much my thoughts too

I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

Don't worry, he is the only one who thinks that, thinks he is better than Connor.

Won't be long until he mentions the semi final interception or start a thread when he misses one tackle.

Shauls hardly been given a chance other than against saints in dreadful weather when everyone in the team was appalling

Mitch has played well but not even close to ratu so it's another downgrade

What does Houghton bring? He does the same job as Jordan Johnstone except Houghton is on 5 times more wage

Lovodua should be hooker he's done more in attack in 5 or 6 games than Houghton has in his full career
