Looks a strong squad - while I like Jouffret can't see where he'd fit in unless they put him on the bench. Would leave the backs as they were against Leigh, and the pack that was on the field in the second game against Fev. As long as they go with the right attitude can't see anything but a win, just glad we didn't play when it was a bog.

A good day out at Workington. Well done the lads. Overall a good performance against a team who have guts and never stopped trying but there was a difference in class. We always looked dangerous throwing the ball around. Even though it was stuff game I never felt that Workington were going to score and I also felt we could have gone up a gear. Keys moved us around the park well and caused Workington SL defence a lot of trouble. Lest carry this on against Whitehaven.
Got to be happy with the bulk of that effort with a number of changes from Monday. After the penalty conceded on the first set the lads soon got into their stride and kept the scoreboard ticking over with some good scores. Defense was just as solid in what was overhaul a pretty dominant display.

For me that was exactly the type of game we needed. No where as near as intense as previous games which allowed us to relax and score a wide range of scores tibbs was the pick for me. And with all due respect to workington they did not have the power to trouble us so for once we had dominance through the middle which made life easier for us. We do after take in to account the quality of the opposition but it was a welcome win which we need to kick on from against whitehaven next week. And one last point from the people that we came across from the stewards to the fans where some of the most friendly and sociable i have come across at a game of rugby and a pleasure to meet.
