Yes agree completely with that; we have enough to win this game without risking our main attacking weapon, don't forget what Featherstone did to our season a few years ago, would hate to see someone ruin their entire season in a game we should be winning comfortably, playing a few of the back up squad/young lads.
Anyone carrying a knock shouldn't be risked and i'd look to rest some of the big lads and freshen up. I wouldn't risk Connor, we only have to look at Featherstone a couple of years ago, our season collapsed after that, we don't want a repeat.

Shaul, Grub, McIntosh, Taylor, Cator, Scott injured, Gale and Evans banned, I'd rest Swift, Connor, Griffin, Satae, Sao and Mint. That's 14 rested injured, suspended or banned not sure if Brett will do that but still think we have more than enough. Wynne Barron Carlos Walker Miki Lover Macca Fash JJ Bowden Ma'u Dre Lane Subs Burrell Brown Balmforth Severs

You're probably right, he will play him, maybe get to a healthy lead and then withdraw him. It makes me nervous though, it would be typical of our luck to see Jake get injured, or suspended, just as we got Luke Gale back. Here's hoping we get through unscathed, I must admit to knowing very little about the Championship teams, but they'll have a desire to knock us off our pedestal, which makes me nervous, especially on the injury front.
Carlos back on Saturday. Sounds likes McIntosh back the week after at Wigan and Reynolds could be back the following week in the Cup should we beat Sheffield.

If we are going to blood a few youngsters I'd rather have Connor there. Purely because McNamara is still learning and Lovodua isn't really a 7. I'm much more comfortable having youngsters in the side if there's someone of real quality steering them around. Start Connor and hopefully the game will be done and dusted by half time and we can wrap him in cotton wool then.
