Where’s the creativity coming from without Connor. Definitely needs to play. I’m not sure we should be resting players, need to respect the opposition. Put a few young lads on the bench and rest players when the games won.

We are planning a mid championship club, we also need to learn to play without Connor, what happens if he get injured for the season.
No better time than against Sheffield, if we can't beat them comfy without Connor there is something wrong.
If I was Sheffield one of my tactics would be to target Connor early on.
Definitely wouldn't play Connor. Litten, even Shaul might be fit - or Connor Wynne at full back would give us enough. As has been said, we need to learn to play without Jake just in case

That's my concern. If we had Gale or Reynolds fit it's a different matter, or if McNamara was a few years older.

I think its tough one to call on in regards to the team for this one.
With an eye of the league fixture the following Thursday do we leave some players out to aid recovery for a tough period coming up? Is it worth risking Jake Connor but as been mentioned where do we then get our creativity with the likes of Gale and Reynolds still missing. Sheffield are no mugs but I would like to think that Lovodua and McNamara have enough in their game to be able to create opportunities. I'd like to see Satae or Sao given a breather along with Houghton. Hopefully we will see Carlos make his 1st appearance this season in the Cup game.
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

Staying at the exclusive 5 star Featherstone Hotel/pub, Friday & Saturday night. Landlord informed me his bar is open until 1am both evenings. Should be fun. Over this hurdle and 2 games away from Londinium and the classy looking new Spurs stadium. That would be a weekend to look forward to.
