Well I think sending Elliott Moriss to play for shuddersfield reserves and bringing in two unknown players from the giants is sheer lunacy. To me it undoes all the relatively good work from the last two displays against Fev and halts any momentum we were building. I can't now see us getting owt from tonight's game and go for Leigh by 2/3 scores. I hope i'm wrong. Up The Fax!

I wouldn’t call Ashworth and Mason unknown players , they are steady SL experienced players ,they do well for Fax .

They are unknown to me Ian. There's a reason they are shuddersfield reserves. But it's about more than the two players and Morris isn't it? I don't need to go over the whole DR thing again though. Elliot Morris is a good quality championship player on his day however he has been out performed by both gwaze and Dan Murray. I don’t have a problem with the mixed reserves as it keeps the players match fit , we’ve all commented how our pack needs an upgrade especially with the injuries and in an ideal world we would be signing these kinds of players or at least signing them on loan for the full season but you can only play the cards that you’ve been dealt and if it opens the door for the likes of ashworth, mason , roberts , Hewitt etc for the future that can only be a positive. Personally I’m looking forward to see how fax perform against a top end team with more firepower in the pack .

Agree with Listenup regards the DR players. they are upgrades on what we have and we will need some muscle up front to compete with Leigh so ive no problem with us bringing players in. It still don't mean I like DR though.This should be a real good test for us to see where we are at and will be the first time we have played on the pitch in a decent state. Ive a funny feeling that we just edge this one.

Pete I know your opinion on DR and I respect it fully , a few years ago when it first started we did it with Warrington and received Blythe, Mitchell, and McCarthey , I was happy and have been since , James Bell is a very good ball player , ski hoping he benefits our team , but we have Hingano as second hooker , and Ipape as 3rd hooker , this guy is very quick , I expecting a very fast open game , but that sometimes doesn’t happen , Leigh were very scrappy against Newcastle ,and last week wasn’t what was expected , so I’m just hopeful.
Myself I’m feeling good , Pat doesn’t want me going to awaygames yet , but I’m getting better , hope to see ya sometime during the season,give my estwishes to Di.

It says in league express that woody isn't ready to play yet but simon says in is interview that he could play so we will have to wait and see on that one. As for the 2 lads on dr i am hoping they can bring a bit of size and power that we lack up front and i think we should be a stronger all round side for that extra beef as long as they know how to use it.

Just watched Grix's interview and its not exactly filling me with confidence. Its a home game against one of the best teams in the competition but it sounds like we should just be happy to turn up against them.

Well that wasn't great, some very, very sloppy defence on show for some of the tries. Leigh's players just far too big for us and its hard to compete against that. Like I mentioned before after watching Grix's interview I can only hope he managed to get the players more up for the game than I felt after watching that. At this point it feels like we have nothing to play for and I had hoped we would be closer to the top teams this year but it does not look like that is the case and for that reason I will probably pick and choose games going forward.
