The signs where there after Wigan game.
Pull the trigger now, find the right coach and start to rebuild for next year. Season well and truly over.
Will that be the 6th season of rebuilding….I lose count…seems to be never ending

Still don't understand why Furner was sacked..? Was it because he spoke the truth about some of the dross we had / have.... and wanted to clear it out? I just don't see what Sean Long brings to the party as he is supposed be the attack coach? can someone point out the "attacking" we have done this season.. One bug bear i have is our total inability to tackle.. it's shocking. My son's u16 team show more ability in tackling. Get ur bloody shoulders into the ribs. Rant over. I also think there needs to be other changes at the club.. some people are past their sell by date. New owners wouldn't go a miss with fresh ideas. Maybe time for the sleeve to step aside.. i think there was a post somewhere on the forum about how long some people have been at the club.. maybe fresh faces would help./
Again with the revisionism of Furner he was sacked because he was rubbish
Look at whatHolbrook did at saints with the same players as Cunningham furner wasnt up to it

What annoys me is how bad the halfbacks have been. Our kicking game has been worse than last season when we had no halves. The kicks from sezer when we had 12 men on was shocking. I can understand why were down in the middle, and though we should have strengthened, we needed to find the right player, but the halves have stunk the place out almost every game

We’ll never know with Furner. Was not Given long enough. Ruffled the wrong feathers, but is clearly a good coach. Straight back into NRL assistant role.

That is the most worrying aspect of this team and It doesn't look like theyve got it in them to get any better. Austin at least to be moved on at the end of the year.

Yes we’ll never know but Furner had us playing turgid stuff, we were looking like relegation material, he was terrible for us.

Much like Agar has done for a large proportion of his time in the role. We were just as poor last year but he was given allowances by many on here with the disruption to the halves. We'll we've got halves now an we're still as bad.

Subsumed you have to go back to go forwards . He obviously came in decided the playing squad was dross , and not capable of expansive play. Then JJB turned on him, and took everyone with him… But yeah, we’ll never really know…but got a job again in NRL easy enough….

In the two full seasons Agar has been in charge we’ve not looked like getting relegated.
He needs to go but lets not whitewash what he took over
