just caught up with this - agar doesn't inspire me nether mind the players but who left him with nowt to work with gh or kev - 98 and 2003 some key changes in personnel and in following 10 yrs quite a few good signings but a bit more ruthlessness up to 15 might have not left us as we are now but even in transition retention has been ridiculous - tb , sutty , thompson ,donno , mellor . the season 3 in the stands , jjb - wigan don't do it and sts have a conveyor belt kev had chance to clear house gave extensions to his mates
Sinfield was very inexperienced when he stepped up. Not surprising that he fell back on people he knew. I do agree we need to be a bit more ruthless going forward and I really don't want to hear about another former player getting a role unless they've shown they can do the job elsewhere first.
The problem is that even if we play ok vs Salford, it does not fix the issue i.e. playing ok once every other match or worse. I don't want to see the flat, lack of effort and attitude we got in the Hull game more than 2-3 times a year and we have already seen it at least 3 times this season in 5 matches.
I can accept the Wanky loss with the effort and heart we gave. I can't accept the Wigan, Catalans and Hull efforts. Agar for me should be gone now but from now on I expect the effort we made against Wanky week in, week out. One more half hearted performance like Wigan, Catalans and Hull, should absolutely 100% be the end for him.
Iv been convinced for months the plan has been for Smith to come back for next season with Agar DOR, could just be 2+2=5 on my behalf, but everything just seemed to point towards it imo.
Working relationships Contract status What coaching traits/expierience our young squad needs
Obviously, if our terrible start continues, best laid plans, if indeed that was the plan, could need altering.

It`s funny as someone asked me who we could get and I said I wouldn`t mind us getting Tony Smith for a couple of years and see what comes up in Australia. Do you know we are trying to get him or is it tongue in cheek Jack?
I'm not joking. I think it would be a great appointment. I feel like we need someone like him who will make players accountable and drive up standards.
