Barrie usually gets out his book of cliches etc but after the game I actually thought he questioned Moorehouse quite well with genuine valid pionts and concerns. Think it would be fair to say that neither he or Carney were impressed with her comments as it all lacked any real substance to the cause.
Unfortunately RL is a physical contact sport and that is what attracts not only fans to the game but players and its a fine line between player safety in terms of taking out genuine foul play and general play that carries a risk. Both Moorhouse and Cullen failed to grasp or accept its not the offences that have always been red/yellow card offences that are the issue its things like the two yellows last night that were not and should not be yellows that is killing the game. After watching the Evans one several times its actually Walker running in to Evans chest and him bouncing off him so how is a defending player supposed to avoid that? I didn't see any direct contact to the head from Evans shoulder or arm, thought Prior was a little unlucky too as there wasn't any awful lot in that either.
On the replays, I thought both Evans and Prior were both unlucky to be binned for those tackles. However, I suspect they’ll both still get a one match ban on Monday.
I genuinely think , when they are on it, Sao and Satae are as good a front row as any, including Saints. Awesome running game last night, how Walker tackled big Chris yards from the line , at full tilt, was amazing. It had try written all over it and the fullback did an amazing job to stop it. Jake Connor though!

Not as appalling as previously, the last 4 seasons we have won our games there:
2019 - 24 - 26 2020 - 4 - 30 (we lost there 40 - 22 in the October but that was the Hull home fixture due to Covid ) 2021 - 12 - 18 2022 - 8 - 31
Just need to sort our home record out now!

Not weird at all, the tackle was incredible and by the slightest player on the pitch, on one of the biggest. Raps to our props, but at the time, that looked like a try all day long. Leeds' props couldn't handle Satae and Sao was superb, a real gem of a signing who is streets ahead of most props, with a few exceptions and I wouldn't swap either player for any other prop in SL. But praising a tackle that stopped a certain try is not weird , and one of the only few highlights of Leeds display.

Oh yes, I'm still scarred by the 11 year losing streak or whatever it was. Also Barrie Mac saying Headingley the best RL ground in the country. Away support accommodation on a par with Post Office Road in the 90s.

Last night in the umbrella end was so cool, the whole fabulous stadium emptied, leaving thousands of adoring black & white supporters dancing in the moonlight.

Nearly twelve years. We won there in September 2007 back in the days of Peter Sharp, Shaun Briscoe, Matty Head and Tommy Lee then no away wins over Leeds until July 2019.
Our record in all games against Leeds under Richard Agar (2008-2011) was played ten lost ten, points scored 186 points conceded 371. In the ten games we conceded at least 30 points eight times and at least 40 points five times.

Awful times. Felt like all of them were in a downpour as well, maybe not the case but it seemed so.

Our Albert with a ripper of an interception try this morning for the Broncos, just need rovers to lose and it’s a perfect weekend before it’s even begun
