Change needed at head coach i'm afraid. Leeds remind me of Saints when Cunningham was in charge. They changed it and it worked fantastically as they brought in top coaches since. We need to get it right sharpish. Its not good enough for the quality of the club. Sponsors and Shareholders won't be impressed by yet again another abject season.
Something needs to be done from the club to signal to the fans, shareholders and sponsors that performances like last night are not acceptable.
Are we going to see a Hetherington email this week?
I remember Paul Wellens giving a post match interview when Saints weren’t playing well a few years ago, he was visibly upset and angry and you could tell that he at least cared and that Saints playing that way was simply not acceptable. We seem to be missing that kind of thing from our group of players at the moment, I will say I think Handley is probably the closest we have to that, he’s been at the club a while and knows what’s expected but there’s only do much he can do from the wing.
I also think Leeming understands what’s required and will be a good club captain in time.
Just watched highlights. We also need to acknowledge what a mercurial and magical player Jake Connor is. On a completely different level to any of our players. Shame we could never snare him…….

We missed Leeming last night, he's started season well imo. Shown good leadership.
Agree. The club definitely need to do something to show that last night wasn't acceptable. At this moment in time I'd say top 4 or top 5 is very very unlikely and that is simply not good enough for a club like Leeds. I think we all agreed we'd recruited well apart from being a prop light, the coaching is not right.

What a shocker, a complete shambles. Sezer looks like he will be added to the long list of dud signings . Austin tried his best, but it’s difficult to change a game when your team mates aren’t interested. As for briscoe as I have stated several times before ,to play a poor winger in the Centre position is suicidal. What Sean Long brings to the party is anyones guess. The attacking structure of sutcliffe and handley is woeful. The passing along the line is pedestrian to say the least. Dwyer made a break, looked back for supporting players ,only to witness the whole pack of forwards stationary some 20 yards back. Congratulations to hull ,they came with a depleted team on a short turn around and ran us off the park. Conner is a special player fully deserved man of the match However one of his trys was an absolute walk in, a school boy team would be embarrassed by that defence. Agars after match interview was as bad as the team performance. Looking at the coaching set up hull have Gareth Ellis we have Chev Walker. As for sacking agar , probably not at the moment. Not certain if any decent coaches are available. Definitely would would get rid of Sean Long . The mid table sides will have looked at our early seasons efforts and come to the conclusion they have nothing to fear from us. I thought the squad was good enough for a top 4 finish, sadly it’s looking extremely unlikely.

I think we can make top 4 but the change in attitude has to start now!
We have a winnable game in Friday then Saints at home. That Saints home game will IMO define our season, if the players and coaching staff cannot get themselves up for a Friday night home game against the current champions and put everything into it, theyre done for the season, a win or at least a great performance in that game could turn it around, turn uo with the pathetic attitude of last night and it will be an utter embarrassment and an insult to us fans and sponsors

It’s funny how you often see a turnaround in a clubs fortunes after the coach departs. That doesn’t mean it’s sustainable, look at Wakey post Chester last season to this, but you do get a bounce, which tells me that player attitude is usually at least part of the problem.
If Agar does go this week, then I’d expect to see that bounce against Salford, if he doesn’t and we don’t improve 300%, then it will be too late to save us from a mauling against Saints. I think by the end of the Saints game he will be gone anyway.
It's not how much talent you've got, it's what you do with it that counts.

I was going to miss the Saints game as I was going to see Stewart Lee but tried to change the date so I could go - I was half hoping they couldn't change them but just got conformation of a switch so I can go to the game now, Im kind of wishing they couldn't have changed them
I'll go to Salford as planned but there has got to be a change in attitude otherwise I might stop going to the away games, I never thought Id say that to be honest.

Do you still think Leeds have the best pack in the league?

Briscoe - He. Is. Not. A. Centre. Dreadful.
Sutcliffe - Also. Not. A. Centre. Was off to Cas before COVID hit and all of a sudden u-turns. Stood having 'banter' with Connor at 31-0 down. WTF?
Handley. Yes he scores tries. That's what wingers SHOULD do. But again positioning is dreadful. Always flying out of the line and leaving huge gaps.
Fusitua - Getting there. Has had bad luck.
Austin - Clear he tries. Defensively not great. But he is at least a bit of X-factor.
Sezer - Missing again. Much like the second half of last season with Hudds. Commitment?!
Oledzki - Tried hard but is singled out and 2-3 men tackled every time
Johnson - Youth on his side
Prior - Great servant but time has caught up on him
Martin - Not a great game. Missed both kicks.
Gannon - 18. Bags of potential.
Tetevano - Was he even playing?
Thompson - No words
Mellor - A real modern day Ian Kirke
I struggled with the other players as they made zero impact.
We have Jack Broadbent, a centre scoring tire for fun in the reserves - can even get a game.
We have no go forward and i think its not patently obvious Agar is finished. We also have zero pace. When people are runnign at your at pace, you panic and we don't do that the the opposition.
The ONLY good game (barring Warrington as we cant really quantify that due to cards) was the 1st half vs Wakey when Newman played. As soon as he went off, we dropped.
Changes to be made?
Wane for Agar?
Leilua in from Fev (lets have 2 PROPER centres FFS)
A prop from somewhere!
Last night we lost (nearly nilled) to a bang average Hull side, badly, at home. Things HAVE to change or supporters will stop going.
I wouldn`t call Hull bang average. Inconsistant is more like it.Never know which team is going to turn up.
