Why did he receive a yellow and not a red if it was such a horrendous tackle? At least Johnson hopefully gets a chance and starts the game.
Smith's I would have to review again but I did not believe he had placed his bodyweight on the Wakie player. I think Fusitua is quite lucky to be fair as I felt his was the worst offence.
I think most of you on this site are harsh when it comes to our hookers. Fans of most other clubs would be more than happy to have two like Leeming and Dwyer. Everyone is entitled to an opinion but many on here are blinkered. Are they the very best maybe not but as a pair they are up there. Come on and let’s get behind the whole team.
not being able to pass the ball accurately and consistently to the first receiver is a skill i cant forgive a 9 for not possessing at this level of the game.
I think we’ve now had 5 players suspended from 1 pre-season game and 4 SL games. Only 1 was sent off. In the game v wire Holmes was sin binned then banned for 2. And on Friday Jowitt’s was not penalised and now banned for 2. So in 2 games with Kendall reffing he has sent 1 off, and sin binned 3, Dwyer, Holmes and Leeming v wakey, 2 more smith and Jowitt banned after the game.
I’m not knocking Kendall here but are the committee saying he should have sent 6 off in 2 games?
And to make this more bonkers the only player injured was Fusitu’a with knocked out by a shoulder to the head from Currie who was not Banned at all.
For mine this committee is making the game look daft and putting refs in an impossible position.
I totally agree that this committee are just totally inconsistent . How Fuzzy escapes with no ban for the hit on a player without the ball amazes me - we were told this was one of the main areas of foul play that needed to be addressed. I am not a Cam Smith fan , but he is fast becoming another penalty machine - he has to stop this.
The disciplinary panel really has become a complete laughing stock. Really nothing in the Leeming and Smith tackles and they both cop a ban. Yellow / warning should have been enough. But Fusitua's was easily our worst of the game, blatant shoulder charge, and he gets nothing. Totally baffling...

And the big thing is we actually have a young player who can hopefully execute (to a high level) the fundamental skills that sometimes let Leeming down and pretty much always overshadow the good work Dywer does. He needs to be given a proper go and not as a makeshift centre.
