A lot of Bulls fans were perhaps spawned in the halcyon days and are still not accustomed to humdrum days. As a Leigh and Bolton Wanderers supporter, Bongser has learnt to keep the lowest plimsoll line of his mood well above the x axis from which height he can only see past and future spikes - and they are both enjoyable.

Ha, I’m pretty sure the majority of the fans ‘spawned in the halcyon days’ have now returned to their roots with Halifax/Huddersfield/Keighley.
This will be an interesting game, no excuses at home with a strong squad to pick from - will see what the side is made of against a good Batley side. Last home performance was abysmal so you would hope the players might like to address those criticisms.
