A good win (great first half) all in all but yet more injuries and bans incoming.. frustrating. Hoping Newman is ok as he looked superb again. Great to see Walker getting back to something like, he’s reminded us of what he’s capable of last night imo and will get better

The rugby we played in the first half on a glue pot pitch on another absolutely filthy night was very pleasing. Will have our challenges with suspension and injury next week, but on a positive note that may give the likes of Johnson and Broadbent a chance. Are Hull on a four day turn around? If so, big advantage to Leeds.

He held the Wakey player around the chest, leaned back and weighted him to ground, his left leg going under the player. Not even sure why it went on report. It wasnt dangerous, or a hip-drop. It was just unfortunate. And if it attracts a ban its ridiculous.
I was answering why he got put on report for. Ref/Vr obviously had their concerns about the tackle and want the disciplinary to look at it to decide what did/didn’t happen
A win's nice and the execution and completion in that first half were pleasing. Then again, with the space and time we had that was almost a practice run out. It's 100% nailed on that Hull can't have failed to notice how our attack stalled once wakey sorted out their defensive width better. Quite what else can be learned, I'm not sure.

Look forward to holroyd getting back and starting him and Tet on the bench to offer something when roatation happens as we lack any impact from the bench in the forwards

I'm not buying the Newman 'dead leg' story
Watching the game back last night he seemed to pull up before Fifita hit him and could clearly be seen to mouth 'hammy gone' when on the bench, hope Im wrong because I thought he was a class above whilst he was on.
Mixed bag for Fusitua, he took his try well and ran hard but seemed to have few lapses in concentration in defence and his shoulder charge was just silly, to be fair to him it will take him a while to get back up to speed I think.
Was really nice to see Walker back to something like.
Mik was outstanding.
As Ive eluded to before, I really can't wait for some better weather, its no good for anyone, we have haven't played a game without wind, rain or snow yet.
I think Sezer and Austin will start to come good, I like the mix they have, that bomb that wakes dropped was a belter.
Given Harry's come back and then pulled up again I wouldn't be surprised if he's looking at a couple of moths to get it right unfortunately. Even when jenna Brooks said dead leg last night I thought, I don't think so.

Looks very rusty. He will get there though.. there's glimpses.
Newman injury could be a huge blow, we're pretty toothless out wide without him i'm afraid. Sutcliffe, Briscoe don't have the same xfactor.

Strange feeling after the win as I`m well disappointed we didn`t put 50 on them last night. 30 - 0 away from home and we should have put them to the sword. Full credit to Wakefield but that second half was nowhere near good enough. Thought the pack played well first half especially Oledezki and Gannon. Fusitua 50/50 scored a decent try but bombed the one that they scored off. He also seems a lot slower than I thought he would be. Handley did well for his 3 but wasn`t up against anyone decent. Walker was my MoM . Newman might need an op on that hamstring if it keeps going like that which is a worry. I was saying to my mate last night they should take Leeming off and 10 seconds later he gets binned.
