Welcome to the NEW RLFANS.COM. After twenty-five years of service, the old site expired over the last few days. To maintain service we have had no option but to make an early switch to the new site which was in development/testing. Some elements of the new site are unfinished, such as; page numbering and quotations. We will fix these minor issues as soon as we can, please bear with us. If you are having problems logging in, please try a different browser or platform, if problems persist then email support@rlfans.com
Ukraine gave up their nukes along with Kazakhstan and Belarus in the 1990s after they signed the Budapest memorandum along with the US, UK, and Russia, in return for the other nations respecting their borders... guess which country broke the agreement.
The Eastern European countries that joined NATO chose to do so themselves, and were free to do so in line with the Helsinki accord, which the SU also signed in the 70s. There was never any agreement made with Russia that guaranteed NATO wouldn't expand. Those countries joined NATO peacefully. What did Russia do when Hungary wanted out of the Warsaw pact?
What is it with far left tankies who bend over backwards to criticise western (primarily US and UK) imperialism, but then make all the excuses in the world for the atrocities of fascist dictators like Putin, Asaad,, and commie dictators like Ping, Chavez, and Castro?

How else should the countries leader fly around? Easy jet??
Quotechissitt="chissitt"Gove must have been under extreme pressure when he mistakenly said 300,000 instead of 3,000, quickly rectified though, only a problem to those who choose to make it one.'"

What's wrong with Easy Jet? You'd have thought that Boris the Liar, being a man of the people would be thrilled to get down and dirty with the commoners.
Apparently the Ukrainian army has managed to halt the Russian offensive. If true we may start to see trench warfare begin. So unless there's a ceasefire or a peace agreement then it'll come down to who uses all their resources first.
