He was rather 'marmite'. I know he alienated some. However he did not do a bad job and his work on the mic on matchday surpassed what followed.

I assume he isn't as I was blocked by the club this morning

I was wondering why the amount of likes and comments on Twitter posts was down. I figured that people had become disgruntled and couldn’t be bothered but it may simply be that there are now very few Broncos fans left who are allowed to comment.
In all seriousness I can see how this is slightly tricky for the club. I suspect they aren’t trying to deeply offend long standing but frustrated fans but as a public facing medium they feel any negativity might affect the brand. Their heavy handedness in respect of some of the things people have been banned for comes across as crass and over sensitive and clearly has caused offence but I’m not sure what the half way house is. I suspect they ban people because they don’t have the resource to be light touch and just remove posts. Maybe when the new guy comes in he can remove comments but not ban. Hopefully if things improve there will be more positive posts and so no need to remove any more critical ones. As an alternative they could of course just get more things right. A spirited case could be made for saying they have spent more time removing comments and banning than commenting on such things as Sunday’s match, our signing of 3 additional players before the Widnes game and sponsors generally. That is a very odd way to go about things.

The "12 or so old whiners" on here are not alone it would seem.
2,200 to 1,400 in the first 2 league games and no confidence of it being any better in 10 days for York points to the flow of older fans out the door continuing
The old adage about never getting a second chance to make a first opinion rings true (again) for the Broncos and the lack of matchday experience on the first game at a new stadium showed the club wasn't prepared.
Then the lack of communications on social platforms combined with the attitude towards any negative comments ( the shirt is a wire shirt) has further deepened the rift between fans and club.
Personally, I see the club a looking at York as an example of how to become self sufficient. 600+ people willing to pay corporate fees is better than 2,500 old whiners.....problem is, they haven't a core base of fans to develop...as usual they have only seen half the picture.
As for bans on Twitter. I'm still able to interact and given my Twitter name, I find that amusing to say the least.

On the plus side we kept the match score updates flowing regularly on Twitter and even announced the score so that’s a lesson learned.

I see the clubs Twitter feed has a quick post game interview with JC. I welcome that and tend to agree with what he said save the overstating of missing senior players. As I see it we were missing Bienek and Albert ( who I think I’m right in saying was very good but hasn’t played for a bit). Others were missing but I think it is not harsh to consider them as anything other than squad players who may or may not step up.

Missing players ? What about the missing crowd? We stayed away because the weather forecast was good and a nice lunch and walk along the beach held more of an attraction than watching Broncos lose to Bradford. Then to have to pay on top of ST for it, NO THANK YOU.
I must also add that blocking dissenters on SM. Is doing my crust in. It's no good at all. Crazy Sunday afternoons !

On the SM blocking point I note that Mark Rammond has tweeted drawing attention to the lack of points and suggesting, in terms, further quality recruitment required. If I am correct I think he is one of the super fans in essence. Both his points which I hope I characterise correctly are fair ones and not put in an unpleasant way. I wonder if we will be banned or whether the club will reflect on those points and action.

I suspect his "messiah" will not ban him. Rammo amongst others have a fanatical devotion to Hughes. They argue that without him there'd be no club and ignore the reality that I warned them a decade ago that with hughes there'd be no club unless a lot changed.
Another disciple is a young lad who years go I got Quins to open up the far stand for as he needed wheelchair access. This young lad is a supporter of many clubs and is one of the inner circle....he's also the poster who insulted our hosts quite publically (called them scum IIRC) before they approved our tenancy, but he too seems oblivious to the banning syndrome.
The remaining members of the BOSG have a flag and buy monkeys tat, so are patently more important than fans of 2 decades or more.
I've posed what I'd do in the ides of march thread.......but I'd certainly unblock every social media ban straight away.
