Gale thought so as well, dragging Lomax onto his feet not knowing there was 2 small tears in his leg. That action drew attention to the ref to check the incident and probably strengthened the call for a red card.

Lomax struggled a bit afterwards for the last 10 mins of the first half and had to have treatment before he returned in the last quarter of the game. Lomax never ever feigns injury he's a very tough player who plays with a bit of metal attached to his skull.
